Re: Rating the Storm greats

Well there's been some guys just get a game because we needed to go to spot 34 or 35 during origin so they would probably dominate a lust like that unless you mean wasted potential

Re: Rating the Storm greats

If you're going that deep, Finucane, Asofa-Solomona, Harris, Nikau, Addo-Carr and Steven Bell are all stiff Sallymay

Re: Rating the Storm greats

As great as he was (can't believe he's not in the hall if fame), he only played 79 Storm games, hard to get in the top 10 of such a successful club on that.

Milestone Thread 2021

Potentially a big year for milestones beginning tonight with Reimis Smith's 50th NRL game. Next week should be Jesse Bromwich's 250th. Rd 4 could potentially be 100 Storm games for both Addo-Carr and Welch. Finucane, Munster, Kaufusi and (finals and injury permitting) Asofa-Solomona are all within s...

Re: Rating the Storm greats

Chambers also won 3 premierships. He's a tough one to rate.

Re: Mystery of the Missing Accountant

Interesting little fact here - both of our premiership captains have now left the game as winners - Lazarus in 99 and Smith in 20.

Re: Rating the Storm greats

Chambers is a tough one because honestly, he's not in my best 17. I have King and Inglis in the centres. Undoubtedly a great Storm player but not top 10.

As much as I rate Geyer, who would you push down the list for him?

Rating the Storm greats

With Cam Smith retiring, I thought it'd be fun to do a top 10 Storm players. Obviously he's number 1 but it's tough to whittle so many names down to a top 10. 1.Cam Smith 2.Billy Slater 3.Cooper Cronk 4.Ryan Hoffman 5.Jesse Bromwich 6.Robbie Kearns 7.Matt Geyer 8.Greg Inglis 9.Cameron Munster 10.Ste...

Re: Mystery of the Missing Accountant

I assume that the southern end will be renamed the Cam Smith stand and the player of the year award the Cam Smith medal now and deservedly so. Whether he is the greatest player of all time to you (he is to me in my limited time viewing the game) or not, he leaves his playing days on the note that th...

I'm guessing it's so they can work out social distancing.

Re: Mystery of the Missing Accountant

Yes, pretty sure that's right. Also think I remember Munster and Hughes saying they had phone or video consults with Cronk through the year.

Re: Mystery of the Missing Accountant

1. Pretty sure we have been using him as a halves consultant since he retired.
2. He can, like anyone else, get a second job or volunteer his time if he sees fit.

If it wasn't Storm, this wouldn't even be mentioned.
