Re: HostPlus response to my E-mail
With respect Host Plus.....that party politics line about having a moral responsiblity to your clients is *LIMA LIMA LIMA DUCK*ing CRAP....... As an organisation you had a moral responsiblity to act in accordance with the laws of natural justice (only some were guilty), respect for individuals (only...

Re: WARREN SMITH COMPLAINTS HERE PLEASE
+1.... Dear Sir/Madam, Firstly, I will say that I have been very impressed with the impartial commentary of Greg Alexander, Wayne Pearce and Laurie Daley in respect of the Storm salary cap issue. However I have been less than impressed with Andy Raymond and in particular Warren Smith. If Warren Smit...

Re: New salary cap plan
My reading of that article is that the 425K mentioned is what we would be over for this year if the new plan was in operation. If as reported and we are 230K over for 2011, under the new plan this would fall to a minus figure, in fact by my maths we would be under the cap yep fair call...think I mi...

Re: New salary cap plan
the NRL will implement it in 2012 just to screw Storm in 2011. But we can't escape the other thread on this board which suggests that Matt Hanson brought the TPP for 2011 down to 230k over the cap. what credence do we give that linme of thinking ? the current article says 450k which they beleive is ...

Re: NRL must not rip into Melbourne Storm roster
I thought Gallop's comments on 22/4/10 (DISASTEROUS THURSDAY as it will be now known) were not just strongly worded, but were mischievous, emotionally inflammatory and deliberately misleading when he said..."the team that Melbourne Storm has been able to assembe and retain outside the cap"...

Re: Hanson trying to peg back the damge
when you think about this article, it makes some sense. losing folau, Jezza, zappa, chambers, johnson, crocker and replacing them with hinchcliffe, lowrie, mcdougall, tandy, norrie and some youngtsers, must surely have made some sort of dent in the cap breaches for 2011 and 2012 as suggested. all we...

Re: GI being courted by Essendon....
Melbourne Storm star Greg Inglis says he has no plans to leave the NRL club By Karl deKroo April 30, 2010 Greg Inglis says he is committed to staying with Melbourne Storm beyond this season and would be reluctant to play against the club he regards as family. The Test star on Thursday led a continge...

Re: GI being courted by Essendon....
Of the $1 million per year the AFL is "offering" only $400k would actually be in the GWS cap, whilst the remainder would be paid by the AFL as a marketing allowance. That's the critical point isn't it.....under Gallop's watch....every $ earned has to be included in the salary cap. Whereas...

GI being courted by Essendon....
as reported on the AFL footy show. Apparently close friends with former Essendon champion indigenous player Michael Long. Izzy reported as a serious target of AFL Greater Western Sydney.....3 million over 3 years. FOR GOD'S SAKE GALLOP...INCREASE THE NRL SALARY CAP...OR ALLOW 3RD PARTY DEALS OUTSIDE...

Re: Ad in today's Daily Telegraph
I read it as the "practical alternatives" to be the idea that we try and get under the salary cap this year and then we can start playing for pionts. If this guy loves league as much as he says he would not want Storm kicked out of the competion, because of the great players we have and ...

Re: Ad in today's Daily Telegraph
Ice....there are clowns out there that want Storm expelled. It's not my opinion. I don't want that to happen !!!! I fully beleive that action would have killed League stone dead in Victoria. My point was that Gary Johnston never said what his "alternative" is. We all think Gary Johnston wa...

Re: Ad in today's Daily Telegraph
Hate to be a wet blanket.....but I think his best alternative may have been to expel Melbourne Storm from the comp for the whole 2010. While he doesn't say this.....there is an apparent ground swell out there that believes that being beaten by a Storm team that is "allegedly" still over th...
