Re: Round 6 Storm v Roosters
We are as listed early in the week, although team lists don't really matter for this one - the most influential person on the field will be f-ing Ashley Klown, with video ref Gerard Sutton acting as insurance for the Rorters... :cussing: I don't know what to say - who was that Ashley Klown imposter...

Re: Round 6 Storm v Roosters
Bloody good showing tonight. Starting to see a bit of cohesion building along with confidence and passion.
Based on Harry v cheese tonight, the club definitely made the right choice in backing Harry in for the full-time hooker role

Re: Round 4 Storm v Tigers at AAMI Park
Well, after last night, I don't feel so bad about our start to the season. Penrith, the deadset locks for a threepeat (if you listen to the media) now share the same w-l ratio as Melbourne. Does it excuse some very ordinary defensive efforts by the storm? No. But it does show that teams are definite...

Re: Round 2 v Bulldogs at AAMI Park
Not the storms finest performance, but they didn't give up, and there were some good signs in amongst the mess. The new combinations will get better with time, and if we can catch a break with injuries, there's still a fair whack of talent to get back on the field A loss is always disappointing, but...

Re: Round 2 v Bulldogs at AAMI Park
Without resorting to hyperbole, that might have been the worst half in the last 20 years. And Bellamy only has himself to blame, he's recruited poorly and hasn't developed a decent young player since this ridiculous year by year contract situation of his got formalised. Sign up as head coach long t...

Re: Round 2 v Bulldogs at AAMI Park
Without going back to check that might’ve been as bad as any half of footy we played late last season? Honestly the score line flatters us too. Re: Round 2 v Bulldogs at AAMI Park
No player looks more out of depth in first grade than Anderson. I don’t get why he was brought back. Because he had that one great game on debut.... It's like they're trying to capture lightening in the bottle. I feel for the guy tbh, he got lucky, now there's just a mountain of expectation that he...

Re: Official thread and signing news
I love Brandon Smith has played almost this whole game at lock with Turps at hooker. Suck $hit Yep, and after watching Harry's performance against the Eels, any tiny shred of doubt as to if Melbourne made the right choice has evaporated. As much as I loved the cheese, it was really satisfying to se...

Re: Storm Vs Eels Commbank stadium
We really have had an abysmal run with injury the last 12-18months.
Has something at the club changed with the strength and conditioning etc?
Or is it just really, really bad luck.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
It's only been 8-9months since paps' injury, alot of the initial prognosis' were suggesting a 12 month recovery, so he's tracking ok, just not as fast as us fans would like. I think we'll see him play this season, but I'd much rather him held back till he's mentally and physically ready than see him...

Re: Pre season trials 2023
Oh good an injury from a pointless game. *lima lima lima duck* trial matches.....
That said, decent show considering the roosters put alot more of their stars on the field.

That'd explain plenty . It was in my news feed and I didn't pay enough attention to the source apparently
