Trial Matches for 2004

Storm has announced that they will be playing 2 pre-season trial matches next year - first against the Broncos in Toowoomba on 21st February. The second is against the Raiders on 28th February in Wagga!

Sounds like Wagga's my first away trip for 2004! :)

For Love or Money

For some reason I thought this was about players intentions - whether they should play for love or money. :) Anyways - I did watch the final show - and here's a rundown of what happened: Season 1 Episode 6 Jul 18 2003 Cotton Candy. Yep, that's what the two hour finale reminded me of. Fluff, mostly a...

Davis Cup Win

What an absolutely awesome game the Poo played this afternoon. It was one of the classics, with both players feeling the strain, and the Poo suffering a torn pectoral muscle. And to finish the match off with a 6 - nil set is absolutely amazing. Well done to all (especially Arthurs and Woodbridge in ...

Summer Season

The first season we played on a field in Hawthorn, last season was at Gosh's Paddock (cnr Punt and Swan) just down from OP. Not sure of a venue for this season, as Gosh's was ripped up for waterworks. Might be able to fit a reduced (80m) field in tho! Starting time is usually 6pm. The games are mixe...

Coach Anderson

It's amazing sometimes how much history repeats itself. Chris and his son Ben were once with the Storm. Storm then didn't offer Ben a contract. Chris was pissed off, and this was largely responsible for his demise at Storm. Chris then moved to the Sharks, and lo and behold, his younger son Jared sta...

Coaching Insight

I recently had the opportunity to interview Coach Craig Bellamy for a school assignment on managing people performance. One of the most intriguing responses related to how the performance of each player is monitored and managed throughout the season. The coaching staff analyse each game in detail - ...

Summer Season

Storm league is the Victorian version of OzTag - it's a non-contact version of rugby league where you wear velcro tags on each side of your hip. It's a lot of fun, and we usually slip in a BBQ after each game! We're waiting for details on this season so we can start up! :) Check out the OzTag websit...

Hello

It is a bit lonely in here for now... I guess we'll have to wait until the word spreads that a forum exists!
