Re: Round 21 - Rabbitohs vs Storm

Forwards were dominated and they defended their butts off. Good win to Souths but meh its Round 21 better a loss now.

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Raiders

We need Blair in for Scott. Close to the line and with a greasy track Soliola wins that battle everytime

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Yeah the strip ball rule is a bit of an oddity if uiu look carefully at it's wording. So that strip on Hoffman, technically is ok IMHO. It's a tight one, all the Storm boys are a playing off the same score-sheet. You can see NAS and J Bromwich playing it easy as they go, nothing too overly fancy. G...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Finucane immediately added starch to the middle. So good to have him back.

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

And to think Kasiano will add to the bench selection dilemma when he returns
B.Smith, Welch, Glasby, K.Bromwich, Kasiano, Stimson and only four spots.
Then we have Croft, Jacks and Hughes as our other problem.

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

When you're in the position they're in you tend to focus on these things a little more. When I saw the 24 man squad named I honestly could not find a player that didn't deserve a run. Every one of them was playing well enough. We are in a good position and will be at full strength soon enough for th...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

Wow Suli didn't make a mistake and was quite good. Brandon Smith and Brodie Croft played very well. Crofts decision making and execution was too notch and will win the halfback role given Jacks let a couple sofr tries in and didn't execute too well. Liked Tui's impact off the bench and Kenny's footw...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

All they're doing is running hard and getting quick play-the-balls. Jesse coming on has improved things though

Re: Billy Slater - Rep Retirement

It's just amazing at 35 he can still shine at the highest level. Just my opinion he is the best player I have seen. Now the majority of his career I never considered him the best player in the game at the time but take everything into account and I put him on top. For sheer consistency, persistence ...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

Yep house on it Slater and Munster don't back up especially with the way the team performed last week. I quite like the idea of Croft and Jacks in the halves.

Re: Billy Slater - Rep Retirement

I'm a NSW supporter, well really 60-40 but I really hope QLD get this game for Billy. Wouldn't be right to see him out on the end of a clean sweep.

Re: Round 17 v Dragons

I thought our bench was great. Hoffman can be rocks and diamonds at times but never short of effort and heart.
We're good a chance as any this season and we have pretty good depth in all positions.
