Re: Official thread and signing news

I would take him back from an ethics standpoint, no problems. And I consider myself a strong advocate of the 'no d*ckheads policy'. My only reason for not wanting him back is purely a salary cap related one. 90%+ of the polynesian players in our team currently would hold the same views as Izzy. The...

Re: Round 18 - Storm vs Cowboys

Whoever wrote that article needs to learn how to read a fixture. We don't play the Broncos again, we play the dragons for the first time. Not surprising from the NRL's official website - remember they mentioned the Eels moving above us after beating us a couple of weeks ago, even though we were on ...

OK, now I'm annoyed. Souths wingers drops the ball on the catch, they go 5 tackles and we give up a penalty for a kick at goal, crusher, fark me.

But did we? Many times caught out at marker and no real enthusiasm in defence, or attack. Can't comment on Ashleigh Klein cause can't see the ten metres, we do seem to give up a few penalties though...

Re: Round 17 - Souths v Storm

The Lumelume no try and then straight down the other end of the field, does not look good. Geez I hope I'm wrong.

Re: Round 17 - Souths v Storm

Having finally got around to watching last weeks game I can only say how proud I am of the entire team. Lumelume was very good but has also caught Suli's habit of running in, he will get plenty of high balls too. Schonig I was very impressed with, much more so than Vete. Lewis was also very good, ve...

Surely this is all smoke and mirrors, 6, 7 and 9 as listed?

Re: Round 16 - Storm vs Sea Eagles

Don't give a flying you know what, keep the injured out until fully recovered. Hynes and Johns in the halves and Jacks at hooker (if he's fit) and everyone train as such ALL WEEK. Rest of the team, apart from Kenny, remains much the same.

Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

I don't think we really did play that bad, although, I was of the opinion that we would win! I think it was an all over team effort and I believe Christian Welch was our best from last night. As for non contributors, were there any? Maybe I'd be critical of Sandor but then I've already got him in my...

If Storm needs I can get some annual leave approved by my manager and be in Sunshine Coast quite soon.
Would they fit you under the cap?

Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

Haven't watched the game yet so can't comment. Hynes, from what I've seen must be in the halves (and maybe needed to be last night). I think the "experience" argument (Hynes and Johns together) may have been considered and hence went with Jacks. I also don't rate Jacks highly but then were...

I really enjoy Matthew Elliott's analysis.
He is also the special comments on the ABC NRL Grandstand coverage, and I highly appreciate his insights.
