Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
That's the knockout blow. With big bodies running that close you know they will get over. We did it with Nelson in years gone by, it's a winning combination.

Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
We are falling a part and simultaneously hanging in there. This is the most frustrating game.
I stand by it that manly are too big and too fired up, we just cant match them when we give them 50m starts to their set.

Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
I think Pezet at 5/8 and Meany at FB is a better on field combo than Pezet and Munster at FB. I feel Munster is being asked to do a bit of both and as a result he's doing both roles poorly.

Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
I say it each week we are under the pump but Welch is still out there doing a huge opening stint. This is what a captain does! Love the leadership.

It is clear DCE has entered his elite stage. He's got it on a string.

Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
They are bashing us within the laws of the game and it's working very well.
Their forwards are running hard every single carry. They are also super human size. Missing Nelson for sure this week.

Re: Round 6 Storm v Roosters
I recon if you cut Which open he would bleed purple. What a performance he's delivered thus far. All forwards really putting in work. I feel Katoa is noticeably slower in getting up to play the ball, if he can speed that up that would improve that right edge. Munster and Hughes combining is a thing ...

Re: When Paps is back, How does it change the Team Structure
Papa will be back just before finals in my opinion. Big call yes.
When that occurs Id think Warbrick has that X factor physical ability that Meany doesn't. Each have their strengths but I'd have Meany at 14 as back up for all outside backs and halves. Warbrick is too good to drop

Re: Round 5 Rabbitohs v Storm
Nick Meany still not a full back this week? His try saver says volumes. Ran better today also. Was it a case of us being a better team? I think partly yes but also we played with more purpose. My spotlight on Loiero again, 7 missed tackles which was frustrating but another 140m+, 14 hit ups, 47 tack...

Re: Round 5 Rabbitohs v Storm
Is Walker opposite Munster or Pezet? I believe its Munster. However, He is our danger man, get in his head and the games ours, but give him an inch and its a tough night. I am less concerned with Illias, I think Pezet would match him physically. Big game in the fwds for sure. Need the support from O...

Re: Round 4 Storm v Tigers at AAMI Park
Loiero is super consistent, the workhorse and was more noticed tonight. 20 hit ups and 177m and 37 tackles Grant with 50 tackles King, and Welch in the 40s 4 of our starting pack making over 100m with Alec Macdonald close on 98m Pezet is unbelievable. He is so in tune with his kicks to Xavier. Xavie...
