I got a bit confused for a second, when that SMH article mentioned Robbie Ross and Matt Orford... I thought I was in the Twilight zone...

Re: Who might go ???
IMO it would have to be inglis to go because he unfortunately has been so inconsistant in the last year and we will find it easier to replace a center not a fullback.... but also if it was billy to go i rekon inglis would go to fullback anyway... so i guess its win win? BUT THE BEST THING WOUL...

Re: Finchy on the move ???
Finchy's time at the Storm has been mutually beneficial: by playing his career best footy at the Storm, he has raised his earning potential for his Super League career, while at the same time, he has effectively solved our 5/8 problem until juniors like Widdop or Kelly are ready for first grade. I'l...

Re: Rumoured Breaking News: Storm to take NRL to court
Definitely a shame they got accosted. It's definitely a case of misdirected anger, if I saw Phil Gould walking down the street, I'd probably fall to my knees and kiss his feet! Okay, maybe I wouldn't stoop that low, but I'd definitely give him a hug and a kiss for all his support!!! Let's hope that ...

Re: Funny idea for an exhibition game
I guess Rugby League is a far more physically demanding sport than something like AFL... I don't think the majority of legends pre 1991 would still be up for it

Re: Betting called of for Titans?
Grrr. Even if they've been rorting the system to the extent of the Storm administration, they'll still get a slap on the wrist - simply because it's too damaging to have more than one team caught under their noses! The blatant hypocrisy and favouritism of the NRL administration really pisses me off...

Re: Funny idea for an exhibition game
While we're at it lets play the finals like the world series or basketball Teams play a series of 7 games against eachother in a row to go onto the next round!!! The reason it wont/shouldnt be done is its not viable or sane....both ideas That's why it's an exhibition or charity game - not for any p...

Funny idea for an exhibition game
After thinking about the AFL's legends game (and how hilarious they are) I had an idea of how we could apply the same kind of entertainment to our currently humourless game. A charity match could be played (maybe with the teams that don't make the top 8) with one condition: your team must be fielded...

Re: Storm v Broncos....
I can't believe we're playing this badly against the Broncos lol! Our poor defence is letting us down - our attack doesn't exactly look too bad though. I guess having 6 players backing up from Friday night is playing a part. We seem to be lacking the spark we've had over the last fortnight. With som...

Re: Are they serious? Get real NRL
The fact of the matter is that there are teams in the NRL which financially should not be (I'm looking at YOU Cronulla!). The progress of the financially viable/successful teams is hindered by the fact that the floundering clubs cannot meet the new financial standards of the league. The cap could ea...

Re: The Story of great rivals
Yeah well, nobody's complaining that we're cheating now that its rep season!!!
Never mind the fact that our rep players would most likely be in other codes or countries if we didn't "illegally retain" them!!!

Re: Storm v Cowboys....
Ok so we're winning against a team who can't even complete a scrum effectively. Even if we were playing for points, you could hardly call it a hard-won victory  What's really pissing me off is the commentators saying "how long can they keep it up for, they're playing for nothing". He...

Great article from someone who clearly has inside knowledge of how things work in the NRL!
