Re: Cooper Cronk, Ryan Hoffman and Brett White
Congrats to all. Great for the players but this number of representative players puts enormous pressure on the salary cap. Will be interesting to see whether the Storm management have allowed enough extra dollars in the planning for this amount of players. I really believe there should be an addi...

Kevin Proctor
Noticed that Kevin Proctor hadn't been selected in the under 20's 19 man squad for the Grand Final vs Tigers. Didn't notice an injury in the game against the baby broncos. Anyone know if he is injured. If not, would have to be called into the team.

Re: how bad were the refs and we still won.
Wow, take a breath. I've given up worrying about the refs. They are what they are. Over the course of the season it evens itself out. If you listen to the coaches every single team is getting hard done by - just smoke and mirrors most of the time.

Re: Brett white Extends till 2011
White has extended his contract until the end of 2012 not 2011.
Good signing. We badly missed him up front earlier in the year and it showed in our performance.

Re: Finch loves new home
You can see that he is enjoying his footy on the field...he is usually the first one in to congratulate a try scorer and is very excited when we do something good on the field. He has totally changed my perception of him....im glad he is at the club and hope he can stay. We need to find money for h...

Re: dont play tomane again
I think people are being very hard on Joe. Lets look at how things have transpired; - Joe signed a 3 year development contract with the Storm as a 17 year old for around $2,500 that he thought would help his family with school fees. The first year he was still to attend school and then move to Mel...

Re: PROCTOR RE-SIGNS
Good to see... slightly OT, but when is Lima signed until? I don't recall seeing anything about him re-signing and thought he was off contract this year. Very, very happy if he has extended it though! Lima signed a 3 year deal at the end of last year knocking back a very big offer the Bulldogs. ...

Storm recruit's strong bond
Fro the Herald Sun Melbourne Storm recruitment manager Darren Bell has unwiitingly discovered a new recruit with a highly emotional link to the club. Storm has offered a scholarship to 15-year-old Harry Moore, son of the clubs former football manager Michael Moore, who died tragically in Auckland af...

Sika Manu added to Kiwi Squad
Foxsports is reporting the Sika Manu has been rushed into the Kiwi side to replace Frank Pritchard. I would never begrudge a player representative honours but I'm not happy that this is happening. To have missed so many weeks with a soft tissue injury and come straight back into a game of this lev...

Re: the best contract extension yet!!!
Is this in the printed Sydney edition? As it isn't in the Melbourne Sunday edition or on line. Great news if it's the case The Melbourne Sunday Herald-Sun had a section in "Confidential"? that said they heard terms had been reached with Slater on a four year deal and that the finer detail...

[/quote] Thats getting close to our strongest side there....minus cronk. Its a good side...lets hope these young guys can put in and give it a crack. Re: History in the making as Storm's SG Ball team play 1st game
Interesting to see Justin O'Neill included in the extended list of names. O'Neill has had some big wraps on and played for the AIS squad that toured late in the year. Expected to see his name in the NYC squad but was not included in the 32 players detailed on the club website. Interesting to see ...

Re: Hoffy plays with the Storm till 2012
Great News AUSTRALIAN Test star Ryan Hoffman has signed a new four-year deal at Melbourne Storm which will keep him at the club until the end of 2012. Hoffman, 25, made his Storm debut in 2003 and has played 129 NRL games for the club. He is one of five Melbourne internationals who will play in the...
