Re: Magic Round vs Rabbitohs
Storm will do well to make bottom of the 8. That first part of the 2nd half was some of the worst play we’ve done in year
That offload not being collected, Coates dropping the kick, nothing in attack.
May as well plan for 2024. You can stick a fork in us for 2023.

Re: Magic Round vs Rabbitohs
Microcosm of the game there. We do nothing with the ball in Souths half.
Then Souths score off their first attacking set.
Off a Coates error, who has been very poor tonight. I’m a big fan but losing patience

Gee has been fair tonight…so far of course.
We have had enough ball to score more points.
Must do more with it

Re: Magic Round vs Rabbitohs
Souths deserved lead. Storm should have done more with the ball but Souths defence good
Need more from Grant, Hughes and Munny

Re: Magic Round vs Rabbitohs
Obviously if we can contain Souffs attacking threat (esp down their left) we need to be beefy in the middle and punch holes where Souffs are gettable…
It’s going to be a great battle

Re: RD 8 - ANZAC Round v Warriors (AAMI Park)
Yeah a win is a win NAS turned it with his momentum changing spell and some magic from Meaney, Munster and Grant was enough against the Warriors who lost a lot of troops in the 2nd half. I think we are a shade or two of mixing it with the best currently (Panthers, Rabbits, Sharks, maybe Broncos) som...

Tui’s 2 game ban for a late shove on DCE is a joke. Haas gets 1 game for breaking a guys hip!

Re: RD 8 - ANZAC Round v Warriors (AAMI Park)
I would love to have Tui and another wrecking ball on the bench. That’s 1 from Pene, Moreira or Sims

Re: RD 8 - ANZAC Round v Warriors (AAMI Park)
I love CB to bits but we’ve got to use the bench more. Last week the replacements got an average of about 20mins or so.
May have been skewed by Eisenhuth injury but Sims and Garlick must get more than 14 and 22 mins respectively…especially with NAS on an injury return

Re: An honest assessment
A very thought provoking post. What I would I factor into player reviews are the losses of the Broms/Kafusi for leadership with the spark of the Cheese and K Brom (down the left) also being missed. Plus we up until the last few weeks have had a boatload of injuries. Missing Munster for 2 games was t...

Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
He certainly is. He’s no Paps but he’s a very good NRL FB.Storm Spirit wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 11:43 pm Oh dear. That was a mess. Meaney becomes quite important to our structure.
Meaney 1 and Munny running the left with some licence to roam suits us best

Re: RD 7 - Storm @ Manly (4 Pines Park)
Utterly dreadful. Some defensive grit to keep the score down. That was the only positive. Discipline and ball control awful. Many will knock Meaney and he’s no Paps but we missed him tonight. Just a solid FB. Keep Cam away from 1. He’s far better suited to 6 and kept mainly to the left. Defensively ...

Re: Round 6 Storm v Roosters
After saying I would not singe people out, a big shout out for Xavier Coates who was the best winger on the field.
Great hands In the conditions, made more impact in high ball contests and took his tries well.
He gets a fair bit of stick at times but deserves some praise for last night…

Re: Round 6 Storm v Roosters
Terrific display, even more given the conditions. Solid efforts across the park with the spine brilliant well supported by the usual workhorses. I don’t like singling out individuals but Munster has been instrumental in our wins and a clear absentee in out losses. He’s such a difference maker. When ...
