Robins pre-season blast
Wish I could be there for it.
I can't see the Robins beating Hell FC - quite - but it should be a good hard workout for both sides.
I wonder if any of their other new boys will play?

Spot on. The club needs to lobby Karl deKroo and the Herald Sun about getting a full player profile happening in the newspaper in the week leading up to Round 1. Kind of like the AFL do. Let the people know who bloody plays for the Storm. How many people in Melbourne, besides RL supporters, can nam...

Perhaps they should get James Sherry to stay beyond the parts he currently does? Just as long as they don't bring Andy Lou back! 1. Bring back Ian Cohen. 2. Kick the Minister for AFL until he upgrades OP or builds a multi-purpose rectangular stadium. (Ah hell, just kick Madden for the fun of it.) 3...

Hull KR have kicked off their pre-season with a 50 point battering of NL2 Hunslet Hawks.
Match Report
A fine start for Harvey Howard's coaching career.

Ads on Melbourne TV featuring NRL players
Last I heard The Ashes weren't going to be on Nein, or any other FTA TV channel, the Grand Prix's are on Channel 10. The Superbowl is on SBS and I think the Australian Open is on Ch 7. Apart from the Super Bowl I wouldn't rate any of them as " great " sporting events. Anyway, cricket's no...

So we have.... Kimmorley Watts Carmichael Orford Smith M. Turner Brentnall and...... While trying to re-find the full team list for that preseason game, I've happened across one more. :!: After last year's Canberra bushfires there was a sevens tournament to raise money for relief of fire victims. Ha...

Come on. Does anyone know who wore number 7 in the practice match against the VRL?
(Those who played Storm League in the first season may kick themselves.....)

How bloody inconsiderate!!!
Ballarat? That's just uncivil!
I must admit to having missed one game due to a friend's wedding, and my considered opinion is that if the situation arises again I'll go to the game and turn up for the reception.

It's VERY different. I think I like it....just give me a few days to be sure. :D OK, I've had my few days. I do like it. 8) It's easier to read and (for some reason which I'm at a loss to explain) now fits to screen whereas the older version didn't - an anomaly unique to this site. :? I've got dial...

It's a professional game. We need full time professional refs. Until then the system will remain with all it's flaws.KINGY wrote:i just think if the refs were trained properly on how to see and ref it would be fine...but they seem to be {well this year}consistently bad.
