Re: Official thread and signing news
In the post-match interview , Munster said Grant is staying with us, putting Harry on the spot . Most disconcertingly , Harry ducked the issue, saying he is not looking past party-time in Byron Bay. It is troubling that there is still such uncertainty. Harry showed last night he is the future - he ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
I love Cam, but I hate the Will he play or not narrative. It’s such a drag on everyone.
Club needs to come out and say we are playing Harry next year regardless of what Cam is doing. I want to hear Harry say I can’t wait to get down to the Storm, not we will see what happens after Byron

Re: Official thread and signing news
When you watch Harry Grant - it’s kind of like a blend of what you love to watch in both Brandon and Cam Smith in one player. He has to be playing 80 mins for the Storm next year. He’s too good not to play 80 for Storm every week. He was just best on in game 3 on playing 56 mins in my opinion but M...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Jahrome is a good player but he's not worth being in the to 10-15 paid players in the comp, which that sort of money would make him. Jury is still very much out on how he'd go being the number 1 playmaker, without a Smith or a Munster to run the show for him. As you would only pay that sort of mone...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Can’t see him staying past 2022 now Ditto - which links to the whispers of the Matt Burton interest. I’m pretty confident if Jahrome gets a huge offer, I don’t think the Storm will stand in his way even for 2021 if it keeps the Smiths and Harry in purple for 2021. Can't agree with this, why would w...

Re: Official thread and signing news
The Sunday Mail reporting that Jahrome Hughes is seeking offers around $900K :shock2: :shock2: I also read he was looking at $700k to stay at the Storm but we were closer to $500k. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.nine.com.au/article/1cfc5060-0539-494f-9b53-71b7c303b595 I find it really hard to ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
You never know Harry might be willing to stay if he thinks he could get a ring with Brandon and cam in the team I think Harry would stay and play with Cam in the right circumstances. But Harry is an 80 minute number 9 and really deserves to be that player. On the flip side, Cam Smith is exactly the...

Re: Official thread and signing news
It’s actually looking like a really formidable 2021 side. The big dominoes are cam smith and Jahrome Hughes now. Why is Hughes a big domino? He isn't. He is signed for next year and is needed. 2022 may well be a different story. I just can’t see how Jahrome fits in the side if Cam plays on this yea...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Good call by the Storm if JAC’s salary is upped. Despite the fact that he did sign a contract - he is worth well more than what he was on. If he does stay, creates more flexibility for all parties which is a good thing. Walking away with a ‘Reimis Smith’ type player swap would have been bad business.
