Re: Super League thread

With COVID, I've been watching more and more Super League highlights. I've decided to jump on the Catalans bandwagon, because they are team from the South in a foreign land... kinda like Storm :P

Good!

Also, any update on the 14 players on the field affair?

Lucky its been a crazy weekend with Proctor, racist Warriors fans and the Broncos taking the headlines, no one seems to be talking about this.

Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

A positive from the injuries is that more of our squad will have played matches in the lead up to the finals. So with no Qld Cup this year is good. That's true, if we can gives some fringe players a run now that could be very handy coming into September.. err. I mean October. :D Back's against the ...

Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

One thing I don't see us do, that is common when I watch other games as a neutral, is that we don't concede many or any soft tries.

Any football fans here?

Who;s been following the CHampions League?

Some cracking games in the quarters, I'm on the underdog Lyon's bandwagon.

Great read, especially liked the stuff about the mid 90s Super League / Storm early days.

Re: Ex Storm Players 2018

I don;t know, the replay doesn't look too good for him.

Good on Johnson for not giving up his mate, although at the time I don't think he hesitated throwing him under the bus to the ref.

Re: Round 14 - Roosters vs Storm

We're being investigate for having 14 players on the field, apparently a fine is on the cards and very unlikely we will lose premierships points.

Not good for the club!

Re: Round 15 - Eels v Storm

Still on good shape, last two weeks proves we have the depth and players. Parra were pretty bad last night, they will come out firing but I don't fear them as much as the Rortsters.

Re: Sad Rumour

Geez, I hope this is wrong. Surely they'll go home after the season. I mean, we're talking about March 2021, I would imagine things would be a lot better by then. I guess its a wait and see game.

Re: Round 14 - Roosters vs Storm

WTF? Are they serious? Where the *lima lima lima duck* did they pull that from? Are they just trying to punish us for winning? I think the club should fight it, if they can.

Re: Round 14 - Roosters vs Storm

Well said yourhero!!! Yes, a really good win. To do that to the rortsters in Sydney without our two best players, amazing. Not surprised by the ypical Sydney media, poor roosters, look at all their outs blah blah blah. Paps said after the game it was about everyone stepping up and leading, not just ...
