 That's exactly what it sounded like. A pretty huge record and he couldn't have sounded more monotone and soft spoken.

Yep, good stuff. Now we need the Dragons, Manly (shudders) and Canberra to get up.

Re: R20 - Brisbane vs Melbourne

i don't think they were at all unbiased, i'm just saying that i think they are normally worse than what they were last night, probably because we weren't playing a sydney club. Didn't think they were biased either. Fair enough. I will openly admit my anti-Hadley bias likely affects my interpretatio...

Re: R20 - Brisbane vs Melbourne

by their usual standards they really weren't, can't say the same for the refs, especially concerning blocking off the ball. Really? Hadley and Sterlo wanted Mahe sent to the bin! The same happens to Slater four or five times a game and we are lucky to get a single penalty. When it happens to Billy,...

Re: R20 - Brisbane vs Melbourne

Where was the conclusive evidence that Cronk didn't graze the in-goal with his try!? There were a number of times the vision was obscured. He probably did save the try but the VRs aren't following their retarded processes... again. We all knew that Waqa scored against Canberra but were told that the...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

I wonder how much interest there is for Mahe on the market... Surely other clubs would be expressing interest? Hopefully we wrap him up shortly.

Re: R20 - Brisbane vs Melbourne

I'm a big Fonua fan... but there is no way in the world he is 185cm tall. I know it says that on the Storm website (and Wikipedia too) but he would be luckly to be 175cm.

Re: We need a new goal kicker ASAP

well there you go. Cheers yourhero... shows perception can do weird and wacky things!! To be honest, if I didn't check the stats first, I probably would have agreed with you. It is hard to make an objective opinion on a thing like goal kicking when you ride the wave of emotion with only one player....

Re: We need a new goal kicker ASAP

He is currently kicking at 72.24% for his career I'd rate Corey Parker right up there as forward goal kickers Corey Parker has a career percentage of 73.43%. Only slightly better than Smith at 72.24%. And in the last two years, Parker has averaged a woeful 64.58%, by far the worst two years of his ...

Agree with all of those mattstormy. Fonua should be locked up with us, definitely. I'd like to see Kennar retained as well. We are still light on centres.

Re: Garbutt to Broncos

Such a shame RE Sisa... He has struggled a little bit this year but I had high hopes for him returning to form and forming a Fijian wing pairing with Korobiete (assuming we unfortunately aren't planning on O'Neill playing wing).

Best of luck to him at the Raiders, I hope he kills it.

Re: Bellyache's on the ball....

I'm OK with McLean starting at lock. A number of teams are playing an additional prop at lock these days. I'm also very glad Hinchy is coming off the bench again. He brings noticable impact from the bench and seems to be more effective from there. We are more effective early on with the extra big gu...

Re: what do wehave to do to make finals

So using the NRL.com ladder predictor, what are everyone's thoughts on the top 8 come the end of round 26? We'll see how close we get. Mine; 1. Sea Eagles - 38 Points 2. Bulldogs - 38 Points 3. Roosters - 34 Points 4. Panthers - 34 Points 5. Rabbitohs - 32 Points 6. Warriors - 32 Points 7. Storm - 3...

Re: Round 19 vs Canberra Raiders

If Marika isn't playing (unless he's injured) this week, then Bellyache is starting to lose it as a coach. He was one of our best for us last week in only his first game since R1 when he was still at Balmain Wests Tigpies. I think Korobiete definitely deserves another shot for sure (it wasn't exact...
