Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

N-o-o-o-o... ISC make the jerseys with the spangly little jazz ballet buttons on the jerseys, don't they? They might look okay on your 12 year old's ballet costume, but not on men's RL jerseys. If we go with them and have those spangly little numbers on OUR team's on field gear, I'm likely to vomit...

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

There's a rumour on LU that Storm is moving from Star to ISC next year. Apparently the club has lost money through the partnership. I've also heard from elsewhere that Collingwood (also with Star) are moving to ISC next year as well. Don't know where the rumour came from but I see you post there LES...

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

Spot Jobs no longer a sponsor????? No-o-o-o-o-o-o!!!! I used to get my free tickets to Storm through the MD whom I know very well. I hope the company isn't in trouble. Their deal with the club was supposed to run until the end of the season so I don't know why everything has been pulled early. I kn...

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

Only a few left on ebay.com.au if anyone wants to snap one up. I love hoops. I'm a QPR supporter, so they work for me. This would be a great seniors jersey, I agree. Rebel have a bunch - at least my local store (Eastland - possibly at Knox, too). BLK must have dumped their remaining stock to get ri...

Re: Round 13 - Melbourne Storm vs. Penrith Panthers

Regarding the long-sleeved jersey - some of the players were wearing them at training this week. I'd assume they were trying them out. https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/content/dam/storm/2016/News%20Images%202016/Round%2013/Tuesday%20skills%20Rd13/IMG_3014.JPG/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.web.1280....

Re: Round 10 - Cowboys vs Storm

Great game. Glad I made the trip up - was a pretty good experience. Never been to Suncorp Stadium before.

Just so happened to be on the same Tigerair flight home as Cameron Munster, Jesse and Kenny, Felise and Francis Tualau.

Re: Storm and Netball

Not sure how you lot are reading about this and coming to the conclusion that Melbourne Storm is moving to Queensland. It will not happen. I'm all for Storm backing a netball team based on the Sunshine Coast provided there's a clear benefit to the club and it's not just a sinkhole to throw money dow...

Re: Parramatta salary cap article- SMH

If they're no longer involved with the club can they realistically do anything? I just hope the club and owners stay out of it. We're long past it and I don't want to be reminded of what happened again six years later. That said, if something were to happen that lead to the NRL reinstating one or bo...

I hope Marika doesn't go. Me and a friend have somewhat of a man-crush on him and will both be devastated.

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

Will hopefully be receiving mine tomorrow. Star are ridiculously slow compared to BLK and other online stores when it comes to fulfilling orders. I know they say 7-10 days for delivery but that doesn't make it any less ridiculous - especially when Star are based in Melbourne.

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

Looks good to me. I like that it has more purple than previous years - seems to have been getting more and more purple each year. The back of last year's was better I think but this is fine, too. I'm glad there isn't a Queensland jersey. It's hard enough to convince some people that the club is not ...

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

This monstrosity popped up on the online store:

I know it's only a training shirt - but I certainly hope there isn't an Anzac Day jersey to match.

Re: Questions

1. Yes. The e-mail I use for Storm things I only access through the Gmail app on my phone and almost all club e-mails get filtered into the Promotions folder because Gmail doesn't consider it a priority message due to the content. 2. No. Membership covers 11 home games at AAMI Park only. 3. Can't an...

Crown Resorts is until the end of 2020 and Suzuki until the end of 2017. Don't know about Hostplus.

Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread

Tigerair has renewed for a further five seasons. Long term deals seem to be the trend now. Supposedly their presence on the jersey will increase next year and for the duration of the deal. I'm guessing they'll probably replace SpotJobs at the end of this season since that partnership was only announ...
