Re: Official thread and signing news
Reimis Smith(27) and Meaney(27) are probably next 2 that we look at re extensions. OOC end of next year. Reimis looks happy enough to stay. I sure hope he does. I think NM will attract a bit of interest given how well he's playing and might leave for a spot in a starting 13. Long term here he proba...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Katoa re-signs until end of 2027. Hoping to be back playing in 2-3 weeks, good to finally get a bit of an update there. This is great news. It had been worrying that we had not heard an update for weeks and with him listed as “indefinite “- especially with the eye being such a sensitive area. So it...

Absolutely. He was poor earlier in the season, but has been much better in recent weeks. His confidence is highLennart Bedrager wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 9:54 pm Origin seems to have given Coates some needed confidence, he seems to be much improved at the moment

Re: RD 17 v Manly Sea Eagles JUNE 24 AAMI PARK
Meaney looked a bit proppy before he went off. Anyone know if he is injured or not? I just replayed his last couple of minutes on the field. He did look a bit stiff-legged, and yet he made a good run and had one other involvement and there was no impact injury in that time. So hopefully nothing mor...

Re: STATE OF ORIGIN 2023 THREAD
Fantastic win for Billy and the boys.
Our 3 lads were all fantastic. Munster strong all night ( and to be fair, his halves partner DCE had a cracker - will be a danger on Saturday), Harry showed again he is a far far better hooker than Hunt , and Xavier continued his return to form.

Well said .Storm Spirit wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 6:25 pm Loved the fact that although he’s well and truly a Sharks player, he is still comfortable and humble enough to be able to acknowledge that everything he’s been able to achieve was bc of the opportunities that Melbourne Storm gave him. Class act indeed….and always a Storm player.

Re: Bellyache to Coach in 2024!
I just watched the most entertaining NRL 360 episode in years. 1. Anasta announced at the start of the show that Paul Kent has been stood down to deal with “personal issues”. 2. Gordy Tallis- his replacement- landed three telling blows. First , he slammed the Roosters’ recruiting , saying that every...

Any news about NAS’s rib injury, as to whether he will be ok to aim up against Jesse , Kenny and Felise ?

Re: Bellyache to Coach in 2024!
Superb news . Hopefully with a fully fit Paps for the entire 2024 season, it could be a very special finale for Craig - and this decision could kickstart 2023 as well.

Re: Storm to play at Marvel
That day in 2010 was extraordinary . So emotional. Apart from that day, games there lacked atmosphere, but I guess it is the best option in the circumstances.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Outstanding news - perfect ending to a great day . I wonder if this will influence Craig to saddle up again next year - or perhaps he has already told NAS that he is doing that ! There must be a big temptation to sign up for a full season with (hopefully) a fully fit Paps to add to the current team .

Re: Round 5 Rabbitohs v Storm
Superb defensive effort. Pezet looks like the real deal - munster should go to fullback when hughes returns. I think Craig should really look at doing this . It is great to read that Paps is starting to run again, but that presumably would put him many weeks away from playing at all, let alone play...

Thanks Sallymay for the great update on our boys in the QRL. Could things finally be coming together for Jack Howarth ?
