Re: Players Association??????

Me too!! But when you think about it in many ways the club is just an employer to them.
There is comradarie (sp??) amongst them but if they honestly knew nothing of this
I can see them being very angry to the extent that this may happen. I truly hope this
isn't true though.

I suggest you get onto one of the newspaper websites and read a few articles. A lot of their
updated articles continue on with the entire story so far anyway. Happy reading...

Re: Will tomorrow's Open day still gop ahead?

I wish I could be there tomorrow and sunday but will be interstate this weekend.

I just hope the Qld and Rugby League supporters I come in contact with will be
understanding, I really don't want to deal with copping any $hit over this, not yet.

Re: Who might go ???

Like I said, purely speculatively. But this year we're talking $700,000 over the cap. That can't just be all management fee's mate. Looking back to the resigning debacles over some of our players, It can't all be ignorance. I heard on TV earlier that numerous contracts were back ended which is why ...

Re: Who might go ???

Whilst thats true in part about the cheating side of things I only buy into it a little. In reality the players should still be able to re-negotiate their contracts for a lesser amount with the Storm if they should choose to do so. What Gallop is basically saying is that we should NOT be able to kee...

Apparently Harvey Norman staying on... Harvey Norman founder and chairman Gerry Harvey, whose company is a major sponsor of the Storm, said he will stand by the the club. "I don't support cheats but what I'm saying is it's a bigger picture," he told ABC Radio. "There's the next swimm...

Re: Show your Game Day Support

Lets keep in mind that whilst we won't accrue any points this season we can still watch our team play and hopefully win. We can still affect the make up of this competition. If we want a team/club to support in the future then we need to stick with them through our darkest times. Purple bums on seat...

Re: Who might go ???

According to Sydney papers.  We can not reduce player payments to get under the cap, like the Bulldogs did.  The NRL have closed this loop hole.  We must offload players.  Players (big names) could leave as early as next month. Man there are always ways around these things.. Lets say for instance t...

Re: Hands up who thinks EVERY other team is SQUEAKY clean

I'm not sure if every club does it but after today I believe at least a few (or maybe even more than a few) have got to be rorting the cap in some way. I never thought the club I supported would ever have deliberately cheated the cap and look what has happened. Supporters of other clubs would be nai...

Re: So whose staying...

I just want to make it known that whilst I won't be at the game on Sunday due to a pre-booked
trip to the Sunshine State, I will be there in spirit. I'll also be back for the next home game and
those that follow. I just hope we still have a club in the months and years to follow...

I wish that ground announcer would STFU!! We'll cheer when we want to cheer and we don't need
to be told to cheer when we already are cheering. Damn he was annoying the crap out of me.

Re: Who will be purchasing an After Party pass this year

Just wanted to warn people who have purchased the After Party membership. As part of the membership those who bought it will be well aware of the keyring provided which you will use to gain entry to the event. Having arrived in a nice little protective box you may think there is some quality in the ...

Re: tonights game..

The game plan WAS working. The ref screwed us with 3 unbelievable penalties against us. Bit hard to keep
a game plan going if you're playing against 2 extra players.
