Re: Round 22 vs Eels

So, first half significantly better than last week. Didn't go into their shells.
Still a bit sloppy, and left edge defence started badly, but kind of expect that with a new centre.
Seve and Young both trying to earn spots.

So far pretty happy.

Re: Round 22 vs Eels

Interesting watching the wide shots of play the balls.

Clown is running a short 10 for Parra and 13-14 metres for Melbourne. Not just once or twice.

Dear Christian.

You are a prop not a link man. run, don't just stand there and pass.

Re: Newcastle Knights vs Melbourne Storm at McDonald Jones Stadium, 5.30pm AEST

Without wanting to be too negative, I think it's time to end the experiment with Christian as captain. I don't think he's the right guy for the job and I think he needs to be focused solely on being a key front rower at the moment. Not sure who to give it too though. We really don't have many obviou...

Re: Newcastle Knights vs Melbourne Storm at McDonald Jones Stadium, 5.30pm AEST

Very disappointing.
Particularly the defence. The boys just hang back and give their opponents room to move. Then our edges rush in and leave gaping spaces at the edges.

Re: Roosters v Storm: Round 20

Second half better.

A couple of seriously nit-picky penalties to give the Roosters field position in the last 10 minutes.

Re: Roosters v Storm: Round 20

Right edge defence looking pretty dodgy. Kicking game needs work.

Having said that, we are mostly looking solid - just need a little spark and we'll run away with it.

Re: Melbourne Storm vs Penrith Panthers - Round 18 - Friday 30/6/23 - Marvel Stadium - 8pm

Beyond embarrassing. And it's not like Penrith suddenly had an extra man on the field; Storm just suddenly seemed to shut up shop. All the effort from the first 30 minutes just went away. Not a single forward with 100m, only 2 over 70. More missed tackles than you could poke a stick at - and that do...

Well, Storm fans will just have to grab the place by the scruff of the neck and give it a shake then.

Re: RD 17 v Manly Sea Eagles JUNE 24 AAMI PARK

Leading at half time despite the poor performance. Defence has been our saviour, and then capitalised on two of our only three opportunities. Meany could have tried harder to stop the Manly try. Interesting that the player barking directions at stoppages is King. Love Christian, but he's not Captain...

Last week - Christian 56m, Nelson 56m.
This week - Christian 145m, Nelson 170m

Just saying.

http://rb.gy/jxqpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fx_5lv0acAAJ0Mp?format=png&name=small Article says he will be back in 3-4 weeks and will return via QLD Cup! :-D It's in the Terrorgraph, so the info is questionable at best. Personally I'd look outside to check if they said "sky is blue, gras...
