Re: Round 2 - Storm vs Warriors @ AAMI Park
Pretty soft from the club if I’m being honest, they believed it was unavoidable and had a good case and the public and media backlash has been huge, he would have got off for sure, even had Luai’s incident as precedence. Strange one from the powers that be, but we move, next man up, Munster might h...

Re: Round 2 - Storm vs Warriors @ AAMI Park
https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/2024/03/18/hughes-accepts-early-plea/ Melbourne Storm and Jahrome Hughes have reluctantly accepted the early plea and grading for his contrary conduct charge from Saturday night. Whilst both Jahrome and the club fully support and totally endorse the protection...

Re: Round 2 - Storm vs Warriors @ AAMI Park
But earlier in the round a ref got in the way on a scoring play and they pulled it back and replayed the ptb. And that was less interference by the ref than this one.

Re: Round 2 - Storm vs Warriors @ AAMI Park
Coates try was amazing. Paps try a minute before was spectacular.
But the 38 minutes before that was some of the worst football I have ever seen from Storm.

Re: Round 1 vs Panthers @ AAMI Park
Bold of you to think Penrith will be called for blocking the ruck 🙄 The irony being that the only call for that was against us. The Panthers had a try disallowed for blocking Hughes... (I didn't think there was much in it but hey, I'll take it) There certainly were other occasions but a Craig Bella...

Re: Round 1 vs Panthers @ AAMI Park
Issues with handling and decision making in attack, but I'm thrilled with our defence.

Re: Leadership group
I wonder if we go with co captains again Welch and Hughes or Welch and Munster Grant and the leftover half as vice captains again And then 2 or 3 others to round out the group, Papenhuyzen, Tui and King perhaps? How about somebody other than Welch? Nice bloke, good player, but - like JBrom before h...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Discontented, out of form, defensively fragile outside back? That'd be a great investment.

From what I've seen they should sign up that young fella Slater who has been training with them. He looks the goods.

Re: Rep Squads and Awards
You wish Sua was a bit bigger so you could play him on the wing and figure it out with him and Paps coming off his injuries but if Sua keeps progressing a big decision will need to be made. Could Paps play 5/8? Just askin! What would you do with Munster? Put him in as a playmaking lock and demand t...
