Re: The Official Sisa Waqa Appreciation Society Thread
I think Sisa was in our top 3 or 4 players for the second half of the season.

Re: 2012 Official Thread + Signing news
I am a big fan of Chisholm as Mattpoet says he can play anywhere from 1 to 7. His most suited positions are probably 1, 6 or 7. So not sure how he will get a game ahead of Snake, DCE or Foran. His only NRL game thus far came on the wing as a late inclusion for Anthony Quinn last year v the Raiders. ...

Re: Grand Final Player Reviews
I am not sure who did the player ratings but can someone explain to me how Barba got a better score than Billy. Billy scored a try and saved a try and Barba made a couple of half breaks when the game was almost over. Apparently only 4 Bulldogs players were worse than Billy. Whoever did the ratings m...

Bulldogs Player ratings on Fox Sports website: 1. BEN BARBA - The best player all season but suffered from stage fright in the biggest game. Was fairly well contained but always had you on the edge of your seat. 7 2. SAM PERRETT - Did well to score Canterbury's only try and made good metres out of d...

Re: Grand Final Player Reviews
Storm player ratings on Fox Sports website: 1. BILLY SLATER - Scored a try but looked to be hampered by his knee problem. Not as assured as we've come to expect under the high ball, but much better in the second half. 6 2. SISA WAQA - Very solid in defence, made two vital plays to deny Canterbury ce...

Re: 2012 NRL Grand Final: Melbourne Storm v Canterbury Bulld
Congratulations to Craig and all the boys. There were a lot of critics in 2010 of Craig north of the Murray (and mostly south of the Tweed) to say he couldn't coach because we were cheats and NSW couldn't win. They forgot about the fact that guys like White, J. Smith and Lima etc couldn't get a game...

Re: 2012 NRL Grand Final: Melbourne Storm v Canterbury Bulld
Go the mighty Melbourne Storm. If we play like we did in our other two finals we will have a good chance to win. If we come up off our line like we did v Manly we will force the Bulldogs into error like we did with the likes of G. Stewart and Taufua. We need a kick chase like we had against GI in Qu...

Re: Share your grand final plans
Unfortunately I don't think we will be able to make it for a number of reasons. My wife works Sunday mornings (although from 3am to noon), the cost would be huge for flights, accom etc with an (almost) 6 year old and a 4 year old. Plus would be a long day for the kids. So anyway we are having at lea...

Big League - Toyota Cup Young Gun profile
On page 41, of this week's Big League the Toyota Cup Young Gun profile is for Michael Chee Kam. Considering he is off to Manly I thought Cherry Poppins would be interested in that. Also as he is an ex-Storm player I thought the Storm fans might like to read it too. P.S.: On the next two pages (page ...

Re: Is Fonau eligible to play State of Origin?
I would assume that guys from ACT are eligible for NSW. In any case the Raiders have an SG Ball side so that would make their local juniors eligible for NSW. A lot of places you may consider as ACT are in NSW anyway. I always thought Glen Lazarus was from ACT but he was from Queanbeyan which is in N...

Re: Is Fonau eligible to play State of Origin?
Go Storm the Victorian boys can stay with the Storm and still be eligible to play State of Origin for NSW assuming they come up through our junior ranks. As the SG Ball competition is a NSW competition if they play SG Ball for the Storm they are eligible for NSW. This is how Young Tonumaipea was abl...

Re: The Official Sisa Waqa Appreciation Society Thread
Russell Gould from the Herald Sun is on board the SWAS. The below comment was number 2 in Russell's "Set of Six" in today's Sunday Herald Sun. The flying Fijian Sisa Waqa, who has a "Sisa Appreciation Society" growing in numbers, scored his seventh try in his past six games for t...
