Re: Salary cap issues
Unless the coaching staff knows something about the young kids coming through not entirely out of the question, i suspect. i watched an easts tigers (qrl) game not too long ago, they are a club that is quite strong in the forwards. conspiracy thoerists unite i think someone around here said - iirc ...

Re: storm to sign chev walker?
chev walker is a very good player, i have watched him off the bench a couple of times in internationals, he is exceptionally strong. i would certainly be happy to have him in the side, the added bonus being his utility value - if i remember rightly he can play certre, wing, and dummy half without to...

Re: SoO III Adverts
i like it. i have never been to melbourne, infact i have only been more than 4 hours drive from home here on the coast 3 times in my life, so i don't recognise any of the plaecs, but from an emotional grab standpoint, it works well, particularly the score behind it

and to go within a whisker of holding them scoreless, that is just magic. these boys know what it means to fight alongside each other, i'll have them in my trenches next time we are at war, thank you very much

Re: cowboys V Melbourne
i have not seen the game yet, will have to wait for the bigpond replay to come online. but i am guessing there wasn't to many calls go against us, in the first half anyway - iirc there were no penalties either way in the first half  and next to none for the game. looks like a good ref perform...

What happened to anonimity?
it used to be that we would sail along unnoticed, sitting in the top four, and nobody would say anything about us until we were in the semi final. now we are getting reviewed and covered nearly everyday: NRL round eight was pleasing in a cathartic sort of way. It cleared things up. The Roosters aren...
