Re: Round 1: Storm v Tigers
that's what i reckon. if a team is relying on the ref to get all the calls right for them to win a game, you aren't going to win many....glynny wrote: it doesn't matter who the ref is we'll win anyway

Re: Could Friday night be a sellout?
unfortunately, i think regardless of how many people we get, the sydney mobs will still deathride us as not getting a big enough crowd, makeing comparisons to the 'other' grand finalists getting a 50k crowd, why can melbourne only get 15k?

'a secret agreement yet to be worked out' i wish the media would butt out, if it is so far a secret, chances are that there is a reason for it, and it doesn't need an 'independant' (yeah right) media entity telling eveyone. anyhow, back to important matters. i have just bought a block of land, so i ...

interesting piccie, looks like there has been plenty of junk cleaned out of the river system. here on the coast, we have just had yet another fantastic storm, meaning that both our tanks are overflowing again. it is looking quite green at the moment, and smells pretty good to :) good luck to all tho...

@ tigger, i don't even know what quantum leap is :icon_frown: @ mrpc - for mine, seeing a miracle is proof enough. as is the fact that we exist. i have been told that at a certain pressure and temperature, it is possible for a big bang type, something out of nothing to happen. only problem is, that ...

Re: Is there a God?? And if so...........
logic will never be able to define God, who is outside even time. 'logic' itself is an attempt to bring something beyond comprehension down to simple terms - while often being selective with the facts. kind of like anyone being able to set a record, for instance, i am the only person to ever type th...

Maybe if we had all gone to Church instead of attending games we would have won... i hate to be the one to turn this into a serious thread, but..... it would have made no difference. God does not do what seems right to us. If everything went our way, there would be no need to acknowledge God. Thing...

Re: Sunny Coast?
i had really hoped to get there, being about 15 mins from home, at our brand new, local ground. unfortunately, as often seems to be the case, i am going to be out of town that weekend, and reduced to seeing highlights on foxsports when it comes on line and listening to the WCC on radio en route. *si...

hooker has to be able to make a hell of a lot of tackles in a game, slater would need to work hard on his strength and possibly lose some speed for that to happen, i would think

interesting comment by the anchor bloke in the last nrl deluxe of last season, which i guess *removes purple tinted glasses* is in many ways accurate.

i believe 'squad' refers to all available, registered players on the books. the 'team' will only be a subset of these players, i guess.Surandy wrote:the Titans have a 28 man squad
