Re: Prelim Final - Storm v Warriors @ AAMI Park on Sat Sept

I'm pissed right off!!! Bloody Ticketek!!! I bought 9 purple tickets this morning in Cat3 online. You get no option as to where they put you. Seats seemed good enough, diagonally opposite to where I normally sit. After purchase I notice this is the AWAY supporters area. WTF!!! Kinda had the same th...

Talk about bad timing.  :(

Re: GF tickets

Bloody typical of ticketek.... I went on to see just what they were doing..... Using the STORM 'unique code'  For each category of tickets.... I was offered tickets in the EELS section..... How many unwitting Storm supporters are going to be sitting in a sea of blue and gold, and how many Eels supp...

Re: GF tickets

The Ticketek Website kept trying to sell me tickets in the Eels bays, despite entering a Storm ID code, even after I put my old Melbourne address into my "My Ticketek" profile on the website.  Useless pricks.  Can't run a website, can't run major events. I kept attack dialing their call c...

Re: Storm v Broncos Prelim

I hate to say it but the crowd atmosphere where I was sitting was very flat - lots of people talking amongst themselves and really not taking an interest in the game. Also a lot of AFL supporters (very drunk) just continuing to carry on about that other AFL game (rather than watch the amazing perfo...

Re: AAARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Stormwarning hit the nail on the head earlier in the year when commenting on what was more important, the minor premiership or to win the grand final. Too much energy was expended getting the minor premiership. Oh well, bring on Stormy Stormy Night, then in less than 4 weeks we'll be at Tel...

Re: AAARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally back from Sydney.. Loooooooong drive home. I agree with Noa Nandruku that we approached this game all wrong. It seemed we were trying to contain them and win the game just by making less mistakes. We took almost no risks until the game was as good as over. Our 5th tackle options were poor an...

Re: Plenty of good seats still left

Melbourne struggle to draw large crowds away from home Well, yes because there are very few Storm supporters in NSW. Just as Melbourne home games get almost no away support unless we're playing the warriors. Its the lack of Manly and neutral supporters that's bringing the crowd number down. Anyone ...

Re: Time is running out for Waldron

Hold on - This is the same bloke who now makes general members pay for social club access! Please!give us all a break! How is a club supposed to grow when simple things like a community feel amongst members and players needs to be paid for? He needs to get a grip because his loud mouth has taken th...

Re: storm supporter bays???

Woohoo!  I just rang Ticketek and asked if I could possibly change my tickets because the outlet didn't know the supporter bay areas and they *should've*.  Surprisingly they said yes.  So we're now on the "right side of the ground" in Bay 145. Good to hear, the more Storm supporters in th...

Re: storm supporter bays???

I hope ticketek know about them, and I hope they are actual supporter bays with 99% of Melbourne supporters in it unlike  last year.

I'd say the supporter bay will be behind the goals at one end, and manly the other end. I think its 130 but not too sure, will have to find out tomorrow.
