Re: Round 21 Eels v Storm
Ryles will be coaching from the background and Parra players are playing for their contracts/lives. We should win, but expect a harder game than we anticipate. Never underestimate people when rumors swirl about that they may be chopped. We can play 2 smaller guys off the bench as Howarth can switch...

Re: Official thread and signing news
NAS wants to go play Rugby in Japan - he was close to Juzzy and when he was shifted to the Tigers, NAS seemed to loose heart. He is 28 and not the premier player he wanted to be. Sad to lose him but we are building a new roster. Seriously...grown men ALLEGEDLY sooking it up bc a friend left the Clu...

Re: Official thread and signing news
I'm sure the Club knows EXACTLY what it's doing and how it's doing it (in fact I am supremely confident in that)...but I really hope that if Stefano Utoikamanu finds his way to the Storm, he has 100% consciously made the decision to buy into the life change that comes with moving State/City and he u...

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
So glad Harry’s the only Storm player in this Origin (hopefully Trent doesn’t get activated)

Re: Official thread and signing news
We are such a classy club, no other club would do the things we do to accomodate a player or coach. We never seem to stand in anyone’s way if they want out, regardless of if it weakens us or strengthens an opposition, meanwhile I can’t think of another NRL club ever doing anything similar for us ev...

Re: Official thread and signing news
He obviously did that intentionally  It also seems to me… and it might just be me… that some of NAS’s social media posts appear to be cryptically constructed to create a sense of double entendre around him possibly leaving the Club. If that’s the case (and it’s obviously a big ‘if’), I’m not ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
He is capable, imagine if he actually had some decent systems and coaching to improve his game? I’d love to see Stefano in Melbourne. Not to be too negative, but if we can’t get the best out of NAS, what makes us think we can get it out of Stefano? I really doubt that ANY Club would get more out of...

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm
I can’t see Bellamy picking Sua to play on the wing this year or any year. Sua could be a pretty decent FB if he keeps developing his game but that’s his only genuine “position”. Other than that, he’s a strike weapon floating around the middle fwds similar to way Paps was used 3 years ago. It might...

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm
Im not sure why you keep acting surprised about my stance on Warbrick, I don’t rate him and never have, you get your panties in a bunch everytime I mention him. At full strength I believe Coates is our Winger #1 and I would have Fa’alogo, Meaney, Anderson and Smith on the other wing before him, sto...

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm
The swan dive was for try July He already said Craig told him not to do it in games anymore he was given permission to do it during this month He'll look like a real pillock if he drops it, and I thought it looked like he had a little bobble in the corner. (That ultimately counted for nought) I’ll ...

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm
Sua Fa’alogo showed why he can’t be left out of this team a second longer, scored 2 tries, had a 3rd disallowed which was otherworldly, Bellamy simply can’t drop him to reserves again. People saying his defensive deficiencies for Staines 2nd try are the reason he isn’t up to first grade? It’s the f...

Re: Official thread and signing news
So ....with Jason Ryles now apparently appointed as the Eels coach from 2025 onwards....what does that mean for Craig's continued tenure as Coach and a likely future replacement ?
