Re: Broncos v Storm

Ezra Mam and Cobbo will have a field day against our right edge with no Hughes/Felise combo and potentially stop-gap players filling in.

However, in saying that, the remainder of the team lists are just mouthwatering match ups left right and center.

Re: Official thread and signing news

So Jesse, Kenny and Felise should free up say $2mill next year easy? Then Munster eventually leaving for life changing coin, Storm enter the transfer market once again

Re: Official thread and signing news

I wouldnt expect the NRL to step in. Any attempts by the league to prevent what is already occurring only hurts the bottom line - a new team in a NRL heartland would be weak and less attractive to all players and fans, while an already strong team with a monopoly in their state continues to remain d...

Re: Official thread and signing news

itl be extremely deflating to see him go (ala Ablett to the Suns), however it would be very exciting to see how the team evolves post-munster. With a young child, I would be blown away if he stayed, the support network for him and his wife would be absolutely vital to them right now.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

Anyone know the status of Christian's rehab? The mail at the start of the year was that finals was a possibility, I would assume given we havent heard much since his rehab has been a touch slower than anticipated?

Re: Panthers v Storm

So are we ready to re-admit Munster back to the leadership group next season and would it make a difference to whether he stays or leaves? I sincerely hope that Cam avoids any captaincy and leadership positions, purely as captains should never be a flight risk. He is in such high demand, if we cont...

Re: Panthers v Storm

Am I being super critical when im still not convinced we can rub shoulders with Panthers and Eels deep in the finals given we played a well under strength Penrith team after back to back weeks against cellar dwellars

Re: Panthers v Storm

the team is looking much better obviously. I would not expect much action in attack via our right edge without Hughes/Felise combo so Nofo, Olam, Kenny and Munster will be the attackers of choice. I'd much rather keep that 3rd as stable as possible in the lead up to finals, with that in mind i am OK...

Re: Storm v Titans

Said it last week, but gee Munster looks to be loving playing fullback and enjoying the time and space playing there gives him. Do we experiment with paps at 5/8 during the off season? I think so, looked like he never missed a beat. I'd love to see how he goes against more respectable teams, I thin...

Re: Storm v Titans

I get the logic of keeping Munster at FB while Hughes is off but we shouldn't expect our makeshift halves to do very much at all. Coopers kick was good to catch Campbell in goal.

Nofo and Olam will be a great pair
