Re: Official thread and signing news
Train and trial deal for Vaka Sikahele from the Titans. Looks like an Interchange /Hooker.
Looks enthusiastic, had a horrible knee injury in the GF against the Tigers in 2023.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
It was clear from the opening sets that it's widely known Coates is a poor return of the ball, due to his running style being very upright it just takes the initial hit to put him on his back foot and he's pushed over with no trouble.
Warbrick looked miles better in contact.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
Would NAS have made the difference? Interested in everyone's takes on this.
Mine is that it was played at such a pace that a player of his size and style would have been found out.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
I think both teams are playing elite level footy but panthers are getting the edge and momentum.
We aren't making the most of our opportunities such as Bizza being off and not targeting that side.
Tough viewing you can tell the gas tanks are just empty but the brain is telling them to keep fighting.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
Feeling OK about the game tonight. Just checked our round 1 team and both line ups were almost identical. We had reimis Smith, pezet, Joe Chan and Chris Lewis. Now we have Howarth, Munster, Blore, and Lazarus in those positions. I would say it's an improved line up to which we won 8-0 with. My tip i...

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
Thinking more broadly this is a real line in the sand moment for the nrl and gives more credibility that kick offs will change drastically from next season

Re: Round 27 - Broncos vs Storm
With Lazarus form this week and last week, his explosive energy and enthusiasm makes me feel we are in safe hands if Tui has done himself a bad arm injury.
Sua is a big loss, hopefully we can win week 1 and he returns week 3.
Im confident in our depth we can cover anything.

Re: Round 26 - Cowboys vs Storm (Kind Of)
Loved the game,. Which is strange as usually I am ropeable after a loss. Lazarus and Lisati are like our B team version of Katoa and Blore, would love to see those mountains on the bench as a permanent fixture. Sua is absolutely wild, it's like vunivalu times 10. Love it, never stop. Munster stood t...

Re: Round 24 - Panthers vs Storm
Our entire back line, besides Meany ran for over 120m each, that's a beastly effort.
Let's face it though we had a get out of jail free card when Cleary went off. Don't count our chickens but that was a wonderful effort from the guys.

Re: Round 24 - Panthers vs Storm
The reffing is really weird, I hate it but I also love that Penrith has copped calls against them at home, also that we've had 3 forward passes allowed.
Munnys involvement in game management is a trait Wishy doesn't have yet, so glad he's back now for clutch moments
