Re: The Jerseys, Merchandise and Sponsorship Thread
Wow so that is absolutely the most uninspiring and non-melbourne like jersey I've ever seen. Why throw away the style and look we've had for years for this big W, Lowes, Bali street market jersey?

Re: Tino Fa’asuamaleaui
Obviously he is in the honeymoon period, and his first full season of FG was not the norm (out of Melb, in the bubble etc) but his recent interview indicates he is looking to build his life up north and who can blame him. I wouldnt hold my breath hoping he comes back ever again. In saying that, I am...

Great wing combination theyll have! Will they get the ball out to them though?Utha wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 3:24 pm Official: Foxx going to the Dogs in 2022, on a four year deal:

This is good overall as it makes the Doggies competitive again.

Re: Official thread and signing news
A few Instagram NRL pages reporting Storm and Xavier Coates in discussions for 2022 onwards. I have not really rated Coates, however his origin appearance did improve my opinion of him a lot. He is still very young, raw talent and athleticism and needs to mature in a solid team. Post Bellyache and P...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Wonder how much (if anything) the lure of possibly being the long-term #9 for the KIwis has to do with it. The strongest argument for him being a career hooker is based on his performance in rep games. Week in - week out, his best position is at Lock. Unfortunately, the payday is not as attractive.

Re: Olympic Park Better Atmosphere Than AAMI, Change My Mind
Storm man on Quad was great. As a 11-12 year, I was so sucked in with all the gimmicks... fireworks, cheerleaders, Storm on the bike... but the highlight was always the players doing a lap to thank the fans after the win with Thunderstruck blaring in the background. oh yeah back in the day when the...

the atmosphere died as soon as they stopped Storm Man from doing quad bike tricks and riding on 2 wheels with fireworks shooting out of his arse

Re: Official thread and signing news
Whilst this is about Hughes right now, I think in general any of our players looking for paydays of that magnetidue would be wise to do it before Cam retires or moves on. Once he is gone, the pretenders get found out- of which there are very little if any, but their form is largely dependant on his ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Apparently we have thrown some extra cash at JAC to entice him to stick around for one more year. He is set to tell the Tigers he won't be there in 2021. According to Hooper - take it with the same level of authenticity that you would all Hooper articles. The Storm have reportedly upped Addo-Carr’s...

I think Sandor's future is in his collectable card business, F45 and clothing lines. Can't see him being around the club in a significant/full-time capacity based on his interest outside of footy.

Re: 2020 Grand Final - Panthers vs Storm
If we can score 22 in a half unanswered then rest assured the team that went undefeated with a halves pairing in red hot form can do the same.
2nd half will be just as intense.

Re: 2020 Grand Final - Panthers vs Storm
Had this been a traditional grand final with the build up and huge crowd I'd be much more confident in our chances - I'd say the young Panthers team would struggle to maintain composure compared to our seasoned players. However, the reduced crowd will level the playing field. Last week it was abunda...

Re: Preliminary Final - Storm vs Raiders
I'd argue that prelims are a better game than the grand final. Also the experience of a prelim is overall more enjoyable.
