Re: News -Storm negotiating Dome switch
You obviously come from a different perspective here Goat - just because Soccer prostitute their GF's around the country - due to a lack of history - doesn't mean ever other sporting code should. Both AFL and NRL grand finals should be played where they currently are (apart from contractual obligat...

That's great news for the Storm, hopefully it means 33k seats and some standing room areas? We should pack this bitch out every week.STORM*2*VICTORY wrote: According to SEN & the MVFC Forum, the Victory has agreed to sign to the new Stadium.

no mate, he was referring to the centres. wider than he plays at the moment and running into holes instead of putting his 'ouside men' into them, being the centres, wingers and even the back rowers. I repeat, he has not played wing for Melbourne. He would be wasted on the wing He was running nea...

shows how much you know about Telstra Stadium, the Swans play at Telstra Stadium a few times so it's the right shape and anyway the G and Telstra Stadium would have the wrong atmosphere for what you're proposing. The G is not the tradional home of the NRL that's Sydney Football Stadium but it was ...

Re: The 2007 GF should be played at . . .
I don't see why the GF shouldn't be in Melbourne when the Storm get into the GF . . . It's our home city . . . so we should put the NRL final here.

Re: News -Storm negotiating Dome switch
The fact about it is that you can never take the NRL grand final out of sydney, just like the AFL down here. I was out the grand final last year and it was a fantastic atmosphere as well as that what would happen to the grand final breakfast, jersey flegg and the jim beam cup finals. You couldn't h...

Re: News -Storm negotiating Dome switch
I think we view things realistically. Just as the AFL Grand Final should never leave Melbourne, the NRL Grand Final should never leave Sydney. It's what they often call Tradition. I've been to several AFL Grand Finals, and believe me - they wouldn't be the same at a venue other than the MCG. The ve...

I support 16 NRL teams. SO I win every game that is played . . . I think I will win the GF this year too. TypicallyVictory Supporter when they go crap, "I support the Bushrangers". Fair weather. You must be pissed off that the victory have only been here a couple of years and already g...

Re: News -Storm negotiating Dome switch
you're not getting what Glynny's saying Sydney is the traditional home of the NRL, NSW is a NRL mad state, The MCG is the traditional home of the AFL Grand Final, Victoria is an AFL mad estate and a NRL Grand Final down here probably wouldn't get the type of crowd it does in Sydney just like an AFL...
