Re: BAY 6- THE STORM SUPPORTERS ONLY AREA
I actually sat with a few at the yarra river end of the Nikau stand, and beside being as thick at two short planks (when the crowd was put up, one insulting queried if it was a record) and so one eyed they could easily have gouged the other out (as there was no need for it) they weren't violent or i...

Re: does anyone know anywhere we can watch the brisbane game in melbourne?
Is there a website we may be able to get live streaming (is that what its called)?
I can understand why Nein won't put games featuring other clubs on live, but it is the GF rematch, they can surely get more viewers than what they are showing - a movie already out on DVD (I Am Sam)?

Re: Getting fans to the Finals
I usually fly up to any away games, as I have flown, driven, coached and gone by train interstate, and I find flying the easiest and quickest option, especially if working, and is usually comparable in price if you get in early enough and don't mind flying at odd times. I would be interested in catc...

Re: Round 6: Storm v Panthers
Another game we won but just, looked like we were on early but Panthers pushed us all the way. Was unhappy with the crowd when it was posted, but when you consider 2 AFL games that day + Circ De Soliel + Silvers + weather, it wasn't as bad as it seemed, and cerainly better than it could have been. O...

Re: Rd 9: Storm v Bulldogs @ Telstra Dome (Monday Night)
I have been to many events at Telstra Dome, from AFL to soccer to SoO and even the wrestling. I must say the comments about being too far away from the action and lack of atmosphere are a load of rubbish. The largest crowd I've experienced was around 65,000, the smallest was just over 11,000, and ev...

Re: The origins of Storm fans
My story is a little different. I took virtually no interest in the Strom (but was incredibly happy when the team won the comp in 1999) until I got free tickets to see the game at the MCG in 2000, which I very much enjoyed. Actually had a distance love affair with the Rabbitohs based on thier fight ...

Re: Stadium NO closer
As a member of both teams, I can see the rationale of both arguments. On the Storms side, its time to get on with building the stadium, and 27,500 is more than adequate considering the average attendance of the Storm and league in general. Olympic Park, fortress like though it is, is outdated, uncom...

Re: North Devils
I think the Central Coast option is a good one. Its a largely untapped area with a strong League support and no team. We could have a Storm support outpost in the heart of enemy territory - how good wout that be? I thought I saw a team called "Storm Academy" playing before the first home g...

Re: New Scarfs
I do like the scarf, it is made by the same company that did all the A-League scarves, which are of exceptional quality and don't fade, pill or leave loose threads, which when you pull on them unravel half rthe scarf (bad past experience, don't ask!) Looking forward to seeing the new tartan...

Re: What's being done about Friday's
I was pretty disgusted to see Nein continue thier poor coverage of NRL into Melbourne so that they could screen the brilliant movie classic - Beetlejuice! :x Surely a much anticipated clash between South and The Bulldogs would rate higher than an awful 20 year old Michael Keaton movie. This was the...

Re: 2007 Memberships
No cap for me yet, but I did see some at the last home game and wasn't exactly impressed with the colour and style. The last two years the membership lanyard has also been darn near impossible to wear, it is very large and heavy, has anyone else noticed a problem? On the positive side the badge has ...

Re: Storm 2007 Training Gear
The Rebel store at Knox City has plenty of the away jumper, but only has kids sizes of the home strip. They have a very, very small selection of caps, scarves and beanie bears. Interestingly they have a range of other NRL teams jerseys, caps, etc. No idea why. I'm a bit perplexed as to a few of the ...
