Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Raiders
Right now we have sneaked to top of the ladder and finals only a few weeks away. What illegal wrestling/tackling/defensive tactic will Melbourne be the only ones using this year and which coach will be the first to raise it.

Re: Storm has the hardest run to the Finals :(
the other way to look at it is that we are taking points of teams near us if we win. 2 if not 3 of the remaining games could be '4 point games'

Re: Storm War Chest
I just don't think buying big name players works. Remember these big money signings? Sandow to Parra Blair to Tigers Barba to Broncos Foran to Parra Luke and RTS to Warriors Hayne to Titans I think those teams became worse off after the signings. The exception to the rule would be the Roosters who ...

Re: World Club Challenge
The comments regarding the best player in the SL or NRL was not a dig at the playing ability or talents. as we saw from the recent world cup there is not a lot between the best in SL (with a few NRL i there!!) or the best in NRL. I think followers of SL (and i was one of them for most of my life) pu...

Re: World Club Challenge
Its in the main English RL paper that 14,000 tickets have been sold for Friday. Would have hoped for more personally. Hopefully a big push this week will get it up a few K As an ex-pat i feel i can say that the 'thrill' of seeing 'Super leagues' best players (i.e Rhino's) for an Australian audience...

Double header tickets
Did members get a reduced price for tickets for the double header at suncorp or just the early bird prices they are at the moment. I've probably deleted the email if we did get a discount so does anybody have the password or is it our member number??

Re: Qualifying Final: Storm vs Eels
Instead of just the usual "because Bellamy knows more than you bs". Why not have an actual discussion on the reasons why he's playing? Since origin, we've played two games where the forward pack has essentially been full strength and Smith played the full 80 minutes. Griffin played 26 min...

I assume whoever is named Player of the Year does not also get the Best Back/Forward award as well.

Re: Round 22 - Cowboys vs Storm
well contrary to popular opinion on here I have warmed to Griffen in the last couple of games coming of the bench and playing the utility roll. similar to what Hinchy used to do. I'm not saying he is a great dummy half, think he's better as a running forward in the middle with a bit of footwork. Rea...

Re: Storm V Roosters
Here's an idea. Regardless of the named team for this weekend, let the team (that's actually going to play) train together all week and let them form as a cohesive unit and leave out / rest the big guns. Danger game for sure but nothing as dangerous as a team coming together on Friday and trying to...

Re: Round 15 Storm vs Cowboys
just a question for all the stats nerds out there. what would the difference between our NRL games played this week compared to last week and also if coops played last week??? it would be almost 1000 with coops, cam and slater out plus chambers, blair, gladsby, mclean???
