Re: hoffman over-rated

I think he is the one that has suffered the most from the origin series. was really charged up for origin III and has been flat since then, was pretty ordinary angainst the raiders and also last night. We all know from the GF in 2006 how emotional he his after defeat, I think both he and the storm w...

Re: Rd 16 Storm vs Eels

Sika Manu showed why he should have been signed before Aiden Tolman. Tolmans going to be solid first grader but he doesnt have that game-breaking ability that Sika has. Impressed with Sinbad Kali as well, showed our prop stocks will be pretty good after all next year even if Kaufusi leaves, who I t...

Re: Rd 15 Storm v Cowboys

One call I still can't work out from last night... the play where the Cowboys player knocked on in attempting to score, and GI picked it up and got back to the field of play.  How was it not a 20m restart for the knock on in-goal? totally agree, forward passes, knock ons, obstructions are all calls...

Re: Cheap flights $10 newcastle

Glad I read the Bai Stand Regularly, we had flights booked for Newcastle but for some reason the tiger airways e-mail had gone straight to our junk box so didn't know anything about it. thanks to aflconvert for posting, we would have just turned up at the airport in august not knowing. :?

Re: CLINT NEWTON & GARRETT CROSSMAN

Great to hear from other rovers fans here on the bai stand. Try to keep up to date on t'internet and listen to game on humberside via the web. Would be good to get the UK RL gossip from you guys, though I get my rovers fix on their fans forum (Storm). hopefully will be listening to this weekends gam...

Re: Storm in the frame as King wants exit!

KINGY COME HOME. BRING CLINT WITH YOU. Don't think Clint will be coming back any time soon, Has become real favourite with the Hull KR supporters and is putting in some impressive displays by all accounts. All Jake webster doing the right things also down at Craven Park along with Garrett seems all...

Re: Greg Inglis to Wigan 2009?

These types of stories are all over UK rugby, Fans on the rovers forum a few weeks ago were saying that Cronk was moving across there in 2009. People in the know were saying it was a 'done deal' and he was on his when. Then rovers signed Dobson from Canberra on a 3 year contract and its all gone qui...

Re: Quinn wants more

Is it just me or do player's managers get their name in the media more often then the actual players who take the hits, run the yards, get the battered and bruised :x. It seems that the managers want their 15 minutes of fame so offer/make up/exagerate some demands from the 'clients'. I know it is th...

game is done. dragons played well. VERY proud of the young guys tonight...they kept trying right up to the very end. i dont want to be to harsh on the young guys because i believe altho we got beat by a decent margin they still put in and did extremely well. Re: Melbourne Storm vs woManly Sea Eagles - Round 5 Fri Apr 11th

...hoffman had a quiet one by his standards but madde up for it with his try that was just too easy... Are you serious???  He was in everything - he played 80 minutes, 1 try, 19 runs for 155m, 3 offloads, 36 tackles!!  Holy crap, I'd like to see him have a blinder if that was a quiet one! :shock2: ...
