Re: Round 10 vs Sharks
Whoever plays this is the game where our forwards really need to aim up, let’s be honest here only King, Grant, Blore and Katoa have been performing consistently this year. Every other player needs to really up their input and effort to help carry the collective load, I’d love nothing more than to s...

Re: Round 10 vs Sharks
NRL website has Munster @ 6 too, but FOX Sports and League Unlimited have him at 7, someone’s made a booboo somewhere.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
Ponissi quotes on Fa’alogo and Hughes today: “The medical staff at this stage aren’t overly concerned about Sua but they’re going to monitor him over the next 24 to 48 hours,” Storm boss Frank Ponissi told The Daily Telegraph. “At this stage he’ll probably be in some doubt but we won’t know until Tu...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
Sounds like Hughes is not going to play next week, such a shame we have lost so many big names right before our top of the table clash. Probably run something like this assuming X is back: 1. Nick Meaney 2. Will Warbrick 3. Reimis Smith 4. Grant Anderson/Marion Seve/Jack Howarth 5. Xavier Coates 6. ...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
Melbourne halfback Jahrome Hughes said he felt his calf "pop" early in the 22-20 win over Gold Coast and is no certainty to play Cronulla at home on Saturday in the NRL top of the table clash Hughes's injury came on the back of a leg fracture to gun fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen and a knee inj...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
NRL Physio saying 6-8 weeks for adequate bone healing for Paps fracture, not great news but not season ending which is fantastic, if anyone can fight back from this it’s him, would be mentally steeled to deal with it.

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
CB press conference quotes on injuries. - Papi going for scans, not going to speculate how bad it is but mentioned the previously inserted screws in that ankle and didn’t sound very optimistic. - Sua came off with a knee complaint, again not too sure of severity until he gets scans. - *edit* Hughes ...

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
Supposedly Hughes got hurt too, may miss some weeks. Not sure about the injury, waiting on the presser to shed some light.

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
Such a weird game to break down but I thought Papenhuyzen looked the best he has in years before his injury, such a shame. We played brilliantly for about 10 minutes and just phoned in the rest of it. Hard to give any player a pass mark, but I thought Harry was phenomenal in the middle, King was so...

Re: Round 9 vs Gold Coast Titans
Joe Chan, that is brilliant getting across to save the day. We have looked cooked all 2nd half and to make that effort then with the game on the line, we have been so so poor and are still somehow in front. Don’t deserve to win, almost think a loss would have been more beneficial. Awful win, one tha...
