Re: Official thread and signing news
Does anyone know who is currently receiving the veteran player allowance? It's close to 200k and Munster would be about the only bloke left come next season that would meet the requirements for it.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Munster or his dog of a manager has rejected Storm's latest offer and will go on the open market on November 1st. His manager said he is worth more than a million a season, Storm is not in the ball pack. Storm offered $800,000 a season, even through he is happy in Melbourne he is not staying for th...

Re: Official thread and signing news
As a last role of the dice to keep Munster though, I feel like the head honcho's should sit him down and ask what exactly he thinks it would take to get him to stay.... it may not be purely a dollar figure. Maybe incentivise him with an offer of the captaincy and his choice of preferred position, al...

Re: Official thread and signing news
I feel like the nrl needs to step in and make a bit of a stand on this kind of blatant poaching. Something along the lines of refusal to register a contract that's been negotiated in such a fashion. But alas, bennet and anasta know the nrl won't do squat.... even less than usual, because they want t...

Re: Official thread and signing news
I said it when he was first loaned here, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t try to stick around next season. You would think we would kick the tyres on that idea as well. Unfortunately, I think he has to go back, otherwise the whole loan thing becomes jeopardised in future. That said, if he goes back a...

Re: Panthers v Storm
Re the lack of meters, the 10 meters was as skinny as any game this season... yeah the panthers have good line speed, but half the time they were on top of us by the time the dummy half had touched the ball. Also, 6-1 penalty count.... sure Sutton, the panthers were nearly perfect from a discipline ...

Re: Official thread and signing news
That's a handy pick up, looking like the start of a solid pack.
Hopefully competition for spots brings out a bit more drive next year

Re: Storm v Titans
It's getting a bit ridiculous tbh... league is a collision sport, played at high speed and intensity. Bad things are going to happen, end of story. Why are 'hip drops' suddenly a blight on the game a few weeks out from the finals despite being in the game for a couple of years now? Oh that's right, ...
