Re: Official thread and signing news

News Corp reporting that J Bromwich is on $1.05M this year. Someone, please tell me they have no idea what they are talking about. Otherwise I will feel obligated to report an absolute robbery to VICPOL. Yeah I was shocked at that - but I wouldn’t be surprised if he took unders most of his career a...

Re: Official thread and signing news

I think Anasta was quite sincere in what he was saying. The prioritising resigning other players I believe is not unfair. Cam had just come off a terrible offseason and needed to be back in the system before anyone could talk contracts with him. With that said, is Cam a million dollar player - yes. ...

Re: Official thread and signing news

As a last role of the dice to keep Munster though, I feel like the head honcho's should sit him down and ask what exactly he thinks it would take to get him to stay.... it may not be purely a dollar figure. Maybe incentivise him with an offer of the captaincy and his choice of preferred position, a...

He’ll have a LOT of $$$$, but he’ll barely play in a win and will be unlikely to ever play a Final in his time there.
Agreed - they can’t win much in the next five years paying that much of the salary cap to one player

Re: Official thread and signing news

Are we resigned to the fact that Munster won’t be at the Storm in 2024?

If the reports are true - $1.5 million, we won’t come close to that nor should we. That is an amount that cripples list management.

Re: Official thread and signing news

I said it when he was first loaned here, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t try to stick around next season.
You would think we would kick the tyres on that idea as well.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

Purely my speculation - I don’t see him coming back until next season.

Re: Panthers v Storm

An incredible effort to watch. Strong defensive games I find more enjoyable than offensive ones! I love how we are constantly reminded about who the panthers are missing on the broadcast. Our list of missing players is as good as theirs and we have missed key players all season! With that said, we d...

Re: Storm v Titans

It’s a shame for cheese, no intention to end up the way it looked. Tinos momentum dragged him into a bad position because Tino is so strong.

There’s some situations where the only way to avoid them is to literally not be there. Doesn’t matter about technique.

Storm stop the scrum clock which stops the game clock and the ref allows Tits to wind the game clock down anyway.

Re: Storm v Titans

This side looks a whole lot better with a healthy Coates, Nofo I have high hopes for.

Add back a healthy Meaney, Olam and Tepai and the side can look dangerous again

Loiero would be great as well

I’m feeling the Tigers are about to have a big clear out. I don’t think anyone would see Nofo being in the Tigers next premiership side, but then again those players may not be born yet!

I thought you had to have both feet on the ground in the field before you could touch the ball again? Or did I miss is?
