Re: Official thread and signing news

No surprise but 12 months is a long time, who knows where he'll be at then.

Remember, we were supposed to lose JAC but he is still here!

One day I look forward to the day when Cam is retired and on fox league or nine. He will bring these points up and we can see what staunch defence is argued by Ennis, Gallen and the Sydney club mafia.
I doubt theyd have him unless he tows the line with their narratives!

A local Melbourne boy!

Sign him up! Especially if Smith returns, he could add to the team in terms of leadership

Re: An Asterisk on 2016 Premiership.

I think the Sharks were deemed compliant with the cap for the whole 2016 season.... which in itself is a farce.

The solution to the salaray cap is allow concessions for players brought through your system, then it encourages clubs to develop you even more.

Re: Super League thread

I only saw snippets, not the whole game, but from what I saw the last few seconds was the only real highlight. Dour defence and no real flair in attack. I watched the Challenge Cup final too, same thing, the English players seem very tough and can defend but lack that spark in attack you see in Aus...

Re: Super League thread

So unlikely to happen, but we would face St Helens in the WCC.

First time since 2000!

Re: Olympic Park Better Atmosphere Than AAMI, Change My Mind

Storm man on Quad was great.

As a 11-12 year, I was so sucked in with all the gimmicks... fireworks, cheerleaders, Storm on the bike... but the highlight was always the players doing a lap to thank the fans after the win with Thunderstruck blaring in the background.

Re: Olympic Park Better Atmosphere Than AAMI, Change My Mind

Also remember Bitter Sweet Symphony being played after every game as we left the stadium. Was't that when we lost? Also the lap of honour with Thunderstruck blaring in the back ground for me was always the highlight. Waiting in line to get un under the Glasshouse. Who remembers the Baked Potatoes g...

Olympic Park Better Atmosphere Than AAMI, Change My Mind

Over lockdown I've been watching a lot of old highlights and games for the Olympic Park days. The "Melbourne" chant was phenomenal when the whole stadium got involved this just doesnt happen to the same degree at AAMI. Don't get me wrong, AAMI is a fantastic modern venue, and we always nee...
