Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Roosters

A wonderful win over a tough opponent . Superb by everyone.

Very happy with Jennings and Reimis Smith - starting to gel.

All our 17 were fantastic .

Good to now have a 9 day break after what was a very bruising encounter. Hopefully Paps’ shoulder will be ok

I agree. It gives him hope for later in the season, which I think will be good for the playing group in general.

Re: ‘Line crossed:’ Storm complain to NRL, Fox Sports over Bellamy bashing

Was that a half-hearted apology by Kent on NRL360 last night. If it was, then it was Pretty p.... poor. I wonder if the NRL told him to say something, or if Bellamy chewed his ear off He only apologised for using the word “maim”. The basic tenor of his statement was that he was only stirring things...

Re: Round 4 v Broncos

Not much to beat, and a poor start , but it looked like we really got back into the groove. Very good to see Tui play big minutes and Tom Eisenhuth showing a lot . Trent Loiero looked totally at home, and a very big unit . Hopefully we get more troops back soon - I am very keen to see Harry slot int...

Re: Will Jahrome Hughes stay?

The only 3 who spring to mind as having maintained anything close to the level of play they achieved at the Storm were Cronk, Inglis and Harris. Really hard to think of any others unless you count guys who didn't get much of a chance like Maloney. Yep. There’s been a truckload of blokes who have un...

Re: Mystery of the Missing Accountant

First off Cooper Cronk isnt a traitor. He simply moved states because he fell in love. He gave many tremendous years of service to the Storm and was influential along with others, in making us the No 1 team in the country for players to want to come and play for. He toiled his sweat and blood for u...

No worries Buzz. I think we can live with the site being down for a while over the Christmas break!

I would also be happy to contribute to costs.

Thanks for your work on the site .

Re: Kangaroos Merit Team

A great credit to all of them, and to the Storm system. It could have been seven, given the fabulous season Harry had for both club ( albeit not our club ! ) and State . We also have a bunch of internationals from other countries . Suli, Justin, Jahrome., Jesse, Kenny, NAS, Brandon are all current i...

Re: Official thread and signing news

Far better to have Harry than Brandon. Aside from being a better hooker, Harry is an 80:min player , whereas Brandon seems to be 40-45 mins max with his wrecking ball style. Well handled by the club given one inevitably was going. . We have both of them next year, and compensation in 2022. Looks lik...

Re: Olympic Park Better Atmosphere Than AAMI, Change My Mind

I love both grounds. As a kid I stood in the outer at suburban VFL games in the 1960s, so the gritty atmosphere at Olympic Park suited me just fine. The kids loved it too ( not the toilets ! ) , especially once we graduated to reserved seats in the western grandstand . We used to be able to park rig...
