Re: Panthers or Raiders?
Well it will be the Raiders and they will be tough. BUT : 1. They got an absolute armchair ride from the ref. They got every 50:50 ( and many that were not even 50:50) . They dropped balls that were called strips - about 3 of those. Were given much more of the ball than they deserved. 2. Penrith mad...

Re: Queensland Cup 2016
That is a terrific win. Tumusa played too, but went off after 11 mins ( according to QRL website) and did not return, so must be injured.

Re: NRL Grand Final 2016
Thanks also from me, Ice. As with Bullucked, I have never taken the risk of not getting tickets for me and the family, so pulled the trigger back in June and forked out for tickets on the 40m line. This will be my 5th GF. For the future however , I will take your advice and hold back until GF week s...

Re: Round 26 - Storm vs Sharks - MINOR PREMIERSHIP BATTLE
Jack Wighton has copped a grade 2, which would see him miss 3 games even with early plea? NRL Website quotes Michael Buettner from the MRC justifying the differences between Wighton and Ennis. This will send Canberra into a frenzy and potentially distract them from the task at hand.

Re: #ChambersOut
I'd like to imagine a few people here were eating humble pie tonight. Why? Regardless of how he played last night that still doesn't change the fact he's been decidedly average by his standards since he returned from injury. Also i bet every single person on here who's criticised him would love him...

Re: Round 26 - Storm vs Sharks - MINOR PREMIERSHIP BATTLE
Super win. Great defence. Wonderful performance by all 4 outside backs . Best game by Chambers since his return. I see the criticism of Welch being selected ahead of Kaufusi, but I think , with the loss of NAS, Craig wanted a bigger body. With NAS back next week, I guess both those lads will miss ou...

Still no KP. Of course again the club might be mucking around with selections. I hope he plays . I reckon we will need him.

Thanks Scooter, good to see Dean Britt back. He has had such an injury-riddled season.

Re: Round 25 - Storm vs Broncos
Agree play to win. We need our mojo back. As a great film character ( Dennis Denuto ) once said , it's all about the vibe, and ours would not be great if we finish LWLL.

Re: Round 25 - Storm vs Broncos
It was indeed and awful night, and has been a bad weekend with all the other contenders winning. When I read NAS has been charged I felt very morose.
HOWEVER We are still on top, so all is not lost!
Does anyone know if KP is likely to be ok next week ?

Re: Forum Issues
Thanks Buzz. For a while I was worried I had been caught out at work spending too much time on The Bai Stand website and been blocked. I got my secretary to try to log in, and when she failed I realise it was something more cataclysmic ! Glad we are all up and running again- lets hope the team is too.

Re: Round 24- Storm vs. Manly
I tweeted Vossy about he and Brandys commentary being biased - Vossy has tweeted me back wanting to know "in what way". I only have 140 characters to reply with - anyone want to contribute lol If you can squeeze it into 140 characters, you should mention his persistent sniping - implying ...

Re: Round 23 - Raiders vs Storm
None of White, Hampton, Griffin and Croft played yesterday. Someone has to replace Kaufusi , who did play, but will it be White or Hampton? Are Griffin and Croft resting , or will our encumbent nos 7 and 9 be rested tonight ? No idea, but makes me nervous ! As to the right centre issue, some observa...

Re: Cronk Signs!!
Ice - the Eels got under the cap this year primarily by Watmough retiring through injury. So I assume that if Billy had to pull the pin early he would forsake his income ( or a large slice thereof) and so would be excluded from the cap. That would presumably give us room to grab someone midseason -...
