Re: Chambers assault investigation??
How pissed off would police be having to waste their time on this petty shit because some knob wanted his 15 seconds of fame. Secondly channel nine just continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel with media sensationalism of pointless drivel. Honestly they are such gutter reporters, doing a 2 minut...

Re: Ben Hampton signs with Cronulla
I really wanted Ben to succeed as well and I do think he has some good attributes but he just hasn't shown enough and his defence and fifth play options have been poor. It might just be me but I think Mann should be developed as a 5/8. Munster looks set to be fullback and obviously needs a few years...

Re: Kirisome Auva'a
Hey Sal, My point isn't just aimed at Somi but the NRL as an organisation. We can all make bad decisions but people regardless of occupation, gender, upbringing, class should be held accountable. More importantly the Nrl are a strong, respected? Organisation in a position to make a strong stance abo...

Re: Round 13 - Melbourne Storm vs Sydney Rorters
Hey, does anyone know how much longer Juzzy is out for?? This has been our worst year for injuries and unfortunately we don't have the depth to cover. I do feel for Sisa though. I think had Duffie and Juzzy been available, they would have let him have surgery on that ankle, he is struggling but at l...

Re: Kirisome Auva'a
Don't mean to rant but honestly am sick of the showboating of sporting organisations "valuing women" in their sports but don't actually do anything to back that up. If like Russell Packer a player seriously assaulted a male, then they too should be banned. It is like the Roosters scheming ...

Re: Kirisome Auva'a
Even more disturbing is the judge deferring sentencing for 6 months. Why ? so Souths can make sure he becomes a white ribbon ambassador and does community service,so that in 6 months time he will get a good behaviour bond?

Re: Looking for a half to finish the year
Yes you are Chip, but every time a player leaves, the standard supporter response seems to automatically state it is the clubs fault. I have heard Matt was thinking of leaving for rugby as of early 2013 and since Widdop was occupying the 5/8 spot at the time, I'm not sure when he thought his opportu...

Re: Looking for a half to finish the years
And where the coaching staff meant to hold McGahan's passport and detain him so he would play for the club ??? He went home to NZ to play Rugby, following in his fathers footsteps. Seriously is it really so hard to accept that not every player who comes to this club wants to stay, instead of rewriti...

Re: Cody Walker gone
Oh please, it's a news limited article, don't trust it word for word. He isn't happy in Melbourne and since he tried to get released from his contract in April, I dare say it's MORE than about first grade appearances. FACT his partner and child live in Sydney with family and DID not move here even t...

Re: Round 13 - Melbourne Storm vs Sydney Rorters
Seriously, since when do our 1 to 17 line up the way we list on a Tuesday. Walker will likely not play because aside from our stars or regulars, we usually give players a week back at nsw or qld cup level when returning from injury. Hampton is MORE than likely to be in the side with a player droppin...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news
Yeah, but we were never In the running when it came to Walker. The reality is that for himself he should have signed with Souths to begin with. (Obviously we want him to star for us, but if you aren't going to move your family here, than clearly your plan is short term and he clearly has been in neg...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news
Cody was signed knowing he would have to force his way into the side. He was given his opportunity and he tore his hamstring at training, had he not, he may have been playing first grade for the last few weeks. But here is some perspective, he was ALWAYS going to leave!!! He moved down here on his o...

Re: Round 11 - Melbourne v North Queensland
Thanks for sharing that comment Storm Spirit, still making me laugh. Lol. stormy I admire JT but I think this year in particular, he is trying to do everything all the time. Watched a few cowboys games this year and at times has been a little selfish in trying to win the game instead of looking for ...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news
Yay, I was really worried we had reneged on our NO DICKHEAD policy. Lodge is a f**kwit of highest proportions, I don't care if he is successful at Tigers, he is a guy who will be a culture killer and considering the selfish, self absorbed, delusional and narcissistic nature of the west tigers in the...

Re: Round 11 - Melbourne v North Queensland
Completely fair point on Roberts defence. I just think that since we are in this situation of no Cronk, we might as well play Walker and Hampton as a combo as they were training together all preseason. Just for some continuity, I just think it MAY be a good idea to test them out now that there are b...
