Massive surprise out of nowhere but from a purely selfish perspective I'm rapt to hear the news. I'm not a Queenslander so I'm not upset he'll be missing Origin, I'm a Melbourne Storm fan/member first and foremost and if Cams decision is going to help us then I'm all for it.

So glad he sat out round 1 so we can witness his 300th at home. Robbie Ross was my favorite Storm player ever until Billy Slater come along then after a few years he took the mantle. Hard to see anyone knocking him off that (in my view) any time soon. If ever.

I was lucky enough to be up north in the UK and shuffle my holiday around a bit to get to Leeds in 2013 to see the WCC there so this will be a nice bookend. Hopefully the same result

Well here’s the jersey. Not entirely sold on the neck but that’s a very minor thing for me and overall think it’s a cracking jersey, best in a long long time and perhaps ever imo. How good is it to see the yellow back?

I can’t say I’ll be laughing if the Chooks won the comp next year and especially just to get a one up on Pearce who I don’t give a second thought. But that’s just me....

Agree with all who are saying this wasn’t a snap decision. You don’t make million dollar a year deals in only 2 weeks. The Chooks would’ve had to have been shuffling their cap around for much longer than that. Let’s just hope it’s a monumental failure and blows up in their face

Personally I hope the reports are correct and we don’t participate. ISC jerseys = worst fit of any sports jersey ever imho... so uncomfortable...and I am just an average normal male build... Picked up the DVD this morning. I wasn’t overly fussed about waiting fir the victory pack. I have other VP’s and though I still watch the GF discs from time to time I rarely if ever watch the other finals so it was pointless waiting for it. For me anyway
