Re: Storm hour on SEN 8pm
All I can say is god bless the Scots! (At least they better than the Poms, marginally better!!) Was a good show tonight, I liked John Hartigan, thought he was very re-assuring about the clubs future. Can't believe that we have now got 9,000 members! Well done Melbourne, good to see you get behind th...

Re: Brett Finch
I gotta say, I wasn't a massive Brett Finch fan when he was at Parramatta, but when he came to the Storm, I began to warm to him and I now, I love him, thats right , I love him even more now!!!! It speaks volumes about the club and how tight knit the boys are. As they say, in your darkest hour, a pe...

Re: storm should challenge the salary cap
Hey Nacho That is pretty common arguement about having a salary cap. I'm no law expert, but my aunty is a lawyer and she said to me that it is a restriction of trade, as you have already stated. The NRL would argue that because they have signed a contract to abide by the competitions rules, then the...

Re: Round 5 vs Gold Coast
So I would dare say that The Rising Sun would have it at 9:30 to? Did Steakout at the Casino show a Storm game live when it was the delayed game?

Re: Round 5 vs Gold Coast
In terms of watching the game here in Melbourne, the Rising Sun will have it live in Melbourne through Imparja. Or will there will other pubs that will be showing it??

Re: 2010 - our most critical year ever.
That supposed rugby union side, the Melbourne Rebels, have lost all their finanical backing, so I don't think that in the next few years that they'll be set up. Heard that the new team in rugby union will be in South Africa.

Re: World Club Challenge (One more time with feeling...)
I agree. Its nice to have another piece of metal in the trophy cabinet...but the NRL grand final is the most important thing...and we took that out. Everything after isnt really worth much. I've always said that once the WCC is played in Australia, I will take it seriously! The only reason why the ...

Re: 2010 - our most critical year ever.
[quote="Kettles"] I am really interested in the thoughts of the Storm hard corers. This next year, if you don't realise it already is our most critical - ever. If News Ltd pull out of the NRL (which they have said they want to) - we will be cut adrift and forced to survive on our own merit...

Re: Can we please do what we did to Stewart?
Hayne Ready To Do 'Something Special' Jarryd Hayne has been dreaming of this grand final moment his entire life and he has a simple message for Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy about the Storm's plans to stop him: "Yeah, good luck." The Dally M medal winner taunted Melbourne just three days ...

Re: Anyone flying home on Sunday night?
My flight back into Melbourne is at 10:10. If memory serves me correctly, once you get to Central, its only one, maybe two stops to Sydney domestic. Three Stops (Central - Green Square - Mascot - Domestic) Fairly certain that there will be trains from Homebush going direct to Central. Yes. Many. I...

Re: Anyone flying home on Sunday night?
Hi people, There's a few of us who are getting the last QF flight home on the Sunday night. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that is doing this too (I assume there is) that has a plan on how to get from ground to the airport? We have a few ideas but would be happy to hear what others are...

Re: Who's going to Sydney and how ???
Howdy all. Just finished booking my airfares up and back. My boss at work is unable to give me the Monday after the GF off so I'm flying up Sunday morning and flying back out of Sydney at just after 10. Gonna be a long day i reckon! Going to line up for tickets tomorrow, but going on previous years ...
