Re: Muscle added to pack

MELBOURNE Storm have added muscle to their forward pack for the 2009 NRL season, signing former New Zealand international Wairangi Koopu. He has a one-year with the Storm after a 164-game stint with the New Zealand Warriors. Koopu, 28, who made his first-grade debut against Melbourne in 1999, playe...

Re: "All together now, Always look on the bright side of life"

Trust me, i thought bout ripping his head off, but three coppers pulled me away and i had no chance to defend my old lady. But ultimately, it wouldn't have been worth it. The supporter actually saw the coppers pull me away and run off when he saw me threaten to hit one of the cops.

Re: Crowd booing Smith?

Waldron had a huge go about that this morning on KB's show on SEN. he said something along the lines of that it's disgraceful that the Aus captain was booed and that the NRL should come out and say how bad that was for the game. Yeah right, like Gallop is gonna do that!! We all know that he doesn't ...

Re: "All together now, Always look on the bright side of life"

Carty, would have thought there were more than 1500 at the after party. I was speaking to someone at the 'Fan day' and they were saying that Sunrise this morning (missed it due to on the way back from Sydney) said that there were 1500 at the Storm live site and 1000 at the Manly Leagues club during...

Re: "All together now, Always look on the bright side of life"

Just as I was driving into Melbourne from Sydney, i heard on SEN that their were 1500 fans who attended the Storm's post match function and only 1000   Manly fans attended their function! I was at the game with my mum and, yes it was tough to watch, but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. ...

Geez i hate Ennis.

Ennis is a dog, soccer players don't even dive as much as what he does. He got what he deserved, especially when he hit Bill after the broncs second try.

Re: Storm vs Sharks

Aitken can play as dummy-half, he ain't no Cam Smith, but he can do the job. In saying that, Storm will vigorously defend Cam and...you never know, Billy got one week for his little indiscretion. So u never ever know.

Re: Is GI gunna turn up this week?

Last Sunday, GI did what he could, but when you attract 3-4 players every time you run the footie, your attack options will be limited. if last week wasn't a serious kick up the arse, then i don't know what it was. As they say, 'beware the walking wounded'. Storm will improve on their performance fr...

Re: Storm offer Tuamata contrct

From the herald sun today Melbourne has thrown sacked Bulldogs five-eighth Arana Taumata an NRL lifeline, offering the troubled playmaker Inglis's No. 6 jumper for next season. Taumata was sacked by the Bulldogs in July after breaking the jaw of a member of the public. Melbourne's offer appears to ...

Mudine should be shot & put out of everyone's misery Silkin, I can think of many, many, many other more painful things that should happen to Mundine. I've got a heaps of mates and some family that have served in the armed forces and as a result, they have shown me a thing of two that could be a...

Re: rd 23: vs Roosters

Well, considering how woeful the Chooks were v the Eels last week, in theory, we should give them a touch up. But that ain't gonna happen, they ain't in the top 4 for no reason. Storm are still the benchmark in the comp, but the Roosters beat us earlier in the season ( I know it was only by 4 point...

Re: WCC 2008 - Storm vs Rhinos

I'm a little ignorant when it comes to this, but would Storm send a full strength team to play? We are sending a full strength team to the game, we've got a trial game with Manly around the same time but the priority for Craig will be the game against Leeds. [/quote In the last few years, the NRL c...
