Re: 2025 SQUAD
I’m sure the club have players in mind already. I would go check up on the best forwards in the qcup who aren’t linked with an nrl side. Surely there are some diamonds in the rough.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
He explains why things weren't great for him in the grand final. Now we just need to know why Tui was also a non factor.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
He would've gone to Parra at one point had he not gotten injured and things didn't go great for him when he took over as captain but he has meant a lot to the club. Would be a sad way to retire if he does indeed have to step away.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Seen training pics of both and one is now sadly hurt but there is nothing official on either Seve or Ieremia even being signed this year.
I just find that lazy.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
He can play first grade. He isn't best 17 but definitely has a role to play, especially when we get injuries and get Origin-effected. He seems to have been around a long time but isn't that old really. But 2 very serious injuries now could prove fatal. His role should've always been as a squad play...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread
Another tough injury for him so hope his head is in a good place.
This is a blow for his development and for people who still think he could play first grade full time.

Re: Official thread and signing news
I wonder if Joe Chan can be first in line to replace the roles Welch and Tui have? I'm pretty much done with the latter and both are in their last year with us. Would also like to see Vaalepu and Lisati get a real chance over both older guys too but that's just a hope thing atm.

Re: Official thread and signing news
After reading the comment Brandon Smith had I don't think it was bad at all. Pezet sees things differently and that's ok. I think a loan deal would've made a ton of sense this season but it wasn't something the Storm were interested in (at least it being part of a contract) from what I read and reme...

Re: Official thread and signing news
Funny how it’s just linked to a Hughes contract extension and not Munster as well given he is also Anasta’s client. I dare say depending on Munster staying healthy and getting back to his best Pezet is every chance being our future 6 as well.

Re: Official thread and signing news
6am Melbourne time it was officially announced. I do not understand the reasoning or benefit of that?

Re: Official thread and signing news
Yeah I think it would need to be a post Craig thing but even then I would be shocked if we ever entertained the idea.

Re: Official thread and signing news
If Brandon was smart he would be doing everything possible to get back into the Storm system. He can still be a great player but not really sure there is another club out there that will get the best out of him.
