Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
Do we know if Tui was injured because most of my frustrations go towards him, Welch and to a lesser degree the way we used Laz. Made missing Nelson even worse imo.
Rest of the forward pack tried their guts out.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
They did such a good job tonight in defusing any half threatening high balls we put up and I wonder if we showed Penrith a bit too much in our win at their place?

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
If it’s called a try I don’t know how many people after it would think it was a bad decision. Sucks that it didn’t go our way. Would NAS have made the difference? Interested in everyone's takes on this. Mine is that it was played at such a pace that a player of his size and style would have been fou...

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
Three of our middles didn’t go over 20 minutes. That isn’t the game right there but it says a lot

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
The boys are going to need to find something because that entire half felt like Penrith setting us up. Not sure how many times they did it but felt like every other hitup was them turning the ball back inside and working us over.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
2018 was too personal for Cam as well which played a role in the team not being focussed enough.
Had Nelson played I would imagine we'd run him out wide a few times but I don't think we'll stray much from the game plan whether Cleary is hurt badly or not.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
What a freaking bummer. I know high shots are a no no but I still trust my initial reaction to the tackle in it not actually being that bad. Contact sport and collisions happen. I don’t know why the match review overreacted in the first place but they essentially killed any chance of NAS playing the...

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
Storm have decided to contest NAS' charge and the hearing is scheduled for tonight which is good. I do not have any faith in it getting downgraded but lets hope for a miracle.

Re: Queensland Cup/NSW cup
The Bears have been so obviously the second best team here but keep hanging in. Neither team doing a good job building pressure has helped things.
Sua is hardly doing any off ball work. Defensively he's non existent. Really weird game overall.

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
The numbers don't stand out at all but I really loved his energy Friday night. His effort and line speed was great and I think we might struggle without that. I think Welch probably gets more minutes and responsibility next Sunday but in limited minutes he looked off the pace to me against the Roost...

Re: Grand Final - Storm v Panthers
They are very gettable but we’ve gotta be at our very best. No NAS means we’re going to need a someone else to aim up big time.

Re: Prelim Final
Grade 3 is beyond a joke… I think it was graded that way strategically by the NRL to avoid (or at least strongly reduce the chances) of NAS getting a downgrade at the Judiciary and being allowed to play. 100% they tinkered with the grading to suit an outcome. F*cking disgusting. Thought had crossed...

Re: Prelim Final
I'd love to know how they've gone with a grade 3 there? Genuine lottery sometimes with what is or isn't serious enough to miss weeks compared to just a fine.

Re: Prelim Final
A grade 1 careless is what I think we're hopeful for with NAS. I still don't think it was truly that bad and a penalty/binning is punishment enough but who really knows what the match review will do. He's going to be an extremely large out if he does miss next week though. I've really enjoyed the en...
