Just think those 2 penalties specifically werent that bad
On the lower end of the spectrum, but in the modern game both within the realm of what can be penalised.
When you have a record like Trent's you don't get the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Round 6 vs NZ Warriors

Stupid by Harry, no need to interfere there. Loiero's work in attack doesn't make up for his ill discipline. Chan's having a shocker - but anyone can have one bad night. Left edge defence is a rabble. Munster and Meaney both caused trys by running up out of the line. Sua's defensive positioning is d...

Re: RD 5 v Panthers (Good Friday)

Although hard to watch, it was only round 5. I'm still sticking with them. The other thing is this article on the quality of Sua's defence that I agree with https://www.zerotackle.com/sua-faalogo-has-a-major-issue-and-it-could-ruin-the-melbourne-storm-232238/ "Melbourne, over the years, has bu...

Re: RD 5 v Panthers (Good Friday)

Defence woeful. The stats don't look too bad - 18 missed and 7 ineffective according to nrl.com - but that doesn't include the tackles where Storm players never laid a hand on them, and doesn't count for the massive post contact metres and the 18 tackle breaks. Our slide defence is rubbish; and not ...

Re: RD 5 v Panthers (Good Friday)

I hate to be negative, but I think we are going to get cheesed*. Based on the last 2 weeks, I can see the Panthers running through Storm's edge defence all night.

We let ourselves down set 1 of the 2nd half. That one moment we let them get a sniff.

This is a shit loss because it was so frustrating and avoidable.
Loved Tui's work.

Re: RD 3 v Broncos

That loss was on Munster and no one else. Come out in the 2nd half as a senior player, gave away a penalty in the first set for a strip with multiple players in the tackle. During that repeat set giving away a ruck infringement for 6 again just laying in the play the ball, no effort to move. Not sl...
