Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm

From fox sports' reserves wrap the other day.. If he's not back next week then something is for sure up. Yeah, I read that too. Regardless of his inexperience I think we have to keep the Keanu Reeves lookalike (Howarth) in the centres, he has got the goods. That leaves the other side, Reimus or And...

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm

And it gets more complicated Bc from what I can see, Wishart is making himself undroppable after Munny is back. Wishart can cover 5 positions and he has proved he has an explosive turn of speed around the middle fwds. Unpopular opinion Does Munny deserve to walk straight back in? Other than reputat...

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm

People saying his defensive deficiencies for Staines 2nd try are the reason he isn’t up to first grade? It’s the first time I’ve seen him beat in the NRL... Didn't watch last week? That Weekes try was embarrassing and Sua had plenty of time to get into position to make an attempt. ...yet people are...

Re: Storm Game Day Help

Gather round folks. I'm sure someone knows the bloke in question. It'd be great if we can help Shane and his young fella out.

Re: Round 18 Tigers v Storm

How true do you reckon the rumours of Reimis trying to get a bigger contract in Sydney earlier in the year are? Might have pissed off the Storm and would explain his fall away from the first grade team. I don’t like that kind of pettiness though and would hope as a club, we just field our best 17. ...

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

I think it’s smart and have been calling for this exact scenario since at least last season. We need him as fresh as possible for a September. I get the concept and agree in principal. However in practice it's: - Round 16 Harry misses (Origin selection) - Origin 2 - Harry plays, gets a head knock a...

2 tries 5 goals. Dogs must have been grubbing it up (no surprise there).

Not just us. Soft tissue injuries have been a plague across the League this year.

Absolutely loved beating the raiders and absolutely loved the thunderstruck guitarist drowning out the raiders drumming at the start 🤣🤣 X going down I guess that means Remis comes back and Proberly Dean …both are meant to play for the bears today so see if either pull out My noggin thought maybe Gr...

Sticky of course had a whinge. Seems to think they were hard done by the Refs. :o
Could have had a heap more 6 agains and penalties, and how Rapana didn't wind up in the bin is beyond me.

Re: Official thread and signing news

Paps is without question our best fullback but he can't stay healthy and we just extended Sua until 2028. We have a ton of holes all over the roster so I'm not sure it would be wise keep both. So, the choice between an injury prone superstar and a very promising kid who is currently a one trick pon...

Re: Official thread and signing news

From the DT Melbourne are on the verge of extending the contract of underrated forward Alec MacDonald. The 22-year-old MacDonald, off contract at the end of 2025, has been a fixture in the Storm side this season, playing all of his 11 games off the interchange bench. His imminent retention comes as...
