Turner had permission to negotiate... But not anymore
I saw that but was a bit reluctant to repeat it in here (copy it) due to the new registration process at smh.com.au as i am sure there is probably something in the conditions that says you're not to do that. I didn't necessarily take it from the website, I may have bought the SMH from the newsagent...

SUPERSTAR QUALITY The rugby league world bowed to Billy Slater when he scored a sensational try for Queensland. But he had a better time at his 21st. RUSSELL GOULD reports. As long as we keep our King of the big fast backs I'm not too concerned.
I'm always a little nervous when Dustin plays because while he is good most of the time, when he does make a mistake it's usually a big one.

They overlooked the halfback award during the telecast, a common occurrence I guess given the height of most number 7s
Apparently Finch tapped them on the shoulder afterwards and they fixed the little fella up.

Please hope that we do not have a melbourne RU Team.
Time to circle the wagons.
Hopefully we'll have a CEO appointed and a battle plan drawn up before their announcement.

The "real" theme song?
I thought that tune sounded famaliar but I couldn't quite place where I'd heard it before. I watched the movie "The Last Castle" on Nein last night & it turns out that it's the same tune as the song of the U.S. Marine Corps.
