Re: Super League thread
Les Catalans through 12-6. Saints won't be fivepeating. It's the end of the road for two bona fide legends of the game in the UK - Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and James Roby.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Yeah, I don't think four flag hero Joel Selwood feels that not going b2b diminishes his achievements, even though 2008 was probably the one that got away. I will say that it's a lot more difficult for a non-NSW team to repeat. Canberra (technically a NSW team) and Brisbane are the only non-NSW based...

Re: 1st Semi Final vs Roosters @ AAMI Park
Eighth preliminary final in nine seasons. But yeah it does feel like something of an indictment on the competition that we’re there this year (after such an indifferent season).

Only a basic GA member, so used my AAN to get a seat in the alcohol free section - it was $20 (plus the usual fee).
If we win we'll be into our eighth preliminary final in nine seasons. If we lose it's straight sets like 2013, and a wasted season.

I think if we beat the Roosters, we’ll play the Panthers at Homebush (Accor). Could be wrong, though.

Re: Round 27 - Rest and Blood players
One thing that may not have been mentioned (because of our obsession with finals and grand finals in this part of the world): Only three teams have won the minor premiership between them in the past eleven seasons: Roosters: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018. Storm: 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021. Panthers: 2020, 2022...

Re: Round 27 - Rest and Blood players

Broncos 3. Storm 4. Warriors Scenario 3: Warriors win, Panthers lose. 1. Broncos 2. Panthers 3. Warriors 4. St...

Re: Who is your 2nd Team after Storm in 2023
Wests, Norths, Newtown (who are all still kicking around in the NSW Cup. Bears have won the minor premiership this year).
Falcons and Tigers in the Q Cup because of the Storm affiliation.

I know no one cares, but Leigh’s fairytale season continues with a surprise Challenge Cup Final appearance. Defeated St Helens 12-10 at Warrington in the semi final a short time ago.

Re: Round 14 Cowboys v Storm Sun 4 June
I'm at peace with missing the eight, because we don't deserve to make it with the dross we're serving up every week.
