Re: Greg Inglis in talks with Essendon FC

Unlike the other 2, Essendon don't need the marketing value of GI to help build the club in hostile territory so they wont receive a cent more from the AFL to get him because the other Victorian clubs would kick up a massive stink about it and rightly so. Just like i'm sure the vast majority of Bom...

Re: Moving goal posts on Salary Cap issue

The NRL needs to stop rushing to the media every time an idea pops into their heads.  I wouldn't be surprised if an article was published one day covering David Gallop's thought process over what to order for lunch. I thought that one would be simple. Surely he`d just eat whatever Rupert told him t...

Re: DISGRACEFUL SYDNEY MEDIA

Of all of the bias, "tow-the-line",pathetic inbreds that call themselves journalists in NSW some days I think there is some real hope for Phil Gould. I might not agree with everything he says on occasions but at least what he says is HIS opinion and he calls it like he sees it. http://www....

Re: Greg Inglis in talks with Essendon FC

with that kind of view why dont yous stick to afl. Lets not even worry about having any kind of junior development in victoria because going by your line of thinking if we @ant have then then no one can. Honestly, one of the stupdiest things ive read on here You`re entitled to your opinion as I'm e...

Re: Greg Inglis in talks with Essendon FC

You know the saying "If you're not part of the solution then you're part of the problem" Gallop has always been part of the problem  ;-) Since some people ? want him as the figurehead of the 'independent commision' I guess he is the ultimate protected species in the NRL. When enough marqu...

Re: Greg Inglis in talks with Essendon FC

I hate the idea that we might lose players but realistically I suppose it is a very real likelihood and personally I`d much rather see one of them cross codes and stay in Melbourne than turn up in a Broncos jersey ( in particular).

Re: DISGRACEFUL SYDNEY MEDIA

Given the apparently incestuous nature of the relationship between News Ltd and the NRL, what do you think the minimum level of inbreeding is required for a cadetship at a News Ltd media outlet. I mean is it sufficient to be able to get a tune out on the banjo or do you have to be reeeeaaaaaalllllll...

You'll have to excuse my ignorance. Is an interwebz a good thing?  :) As for the terrorgraph if it was made of softer paper I think I`d have a better use for it.

Re: Richard Fisk

Never read he didnt want the job,i must have missed bleak citys reports :) It might have been another one of those small details that the  media north of the border missed in its frenzied rush to report everything else they could think of (substantiated or not). Reading some of the crap that has be...

Re: Richard Fisk

In honesty I don`t know a lot about him. If he`s coming from the Sharks I dont know that he has been involved in a club culture that I would want bought in to Melbourne but to be be fair I suppose it takes more than one to create a culture.

Re: Storm v Eels....

I was thinking that too. I found this article (http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/eels-boss-pleads-for-calm-as-grandfinal-rematch-looms-20100531-wren.html )which I thought said all the right things, if you ignore the authors dig at the start, until I read this one  from Ray Price (http:/...
