Re: Official thread and signing news
News Corp reporting that J Bromwich is on $1.05M this year. Someone, please tell me they have no idea what they are talking about. Otherwise I will feel obligated to report an absolute robbery to VICPOL.

Re: Storm v Titans
Jahrome’s incident didn’t look good. A variation on the usual AC joint injury we see when someone lands on an outstretched arm.
Hopefully just a scare or if AC joint, low grade.

Re: Storm v Titans
Young was actually very solid. He can be proud of that effort.

Re: Storm v Titans
So we pack the scrum and the ref stops the clock. The siren goes a few seconds later and he calls off the half??? A few weeks ago after an incident, the NRL made a point that the ref decides full time, not the siren at the ground. That isn’t an error. That is cheating. This needs investigating (/Too...

Re: RD 19 Rabbitohs vs Storm
Just so tough to watch at the moment. Painful. Our identity as a club has collapsed. That first South’s try was enough to see how that game was going to go. The scoreline honestly flattered us in the end. We deserved another flogging. Injuries are obviously at ridiculous levels. But that never gives...

Re: Round 18 Storm v Raiders
The only way to measure fragility is the output of games, regardless of reason. Averaging 17.25 games per year. 2019 - 22 2020 - 20 2021 - 15 2022 - 12 Rightfully, there are concerns. Welchy is unfortunately in the same boat. Actually worse. Averaging 15 games per year. 2015 - 10 2016 - 17 2017 - 8 ...

Re: Round 18 Storm v Raiders
Ennis just finished a 5 minute rant about how NAS’s contact on Rapana HAD to go to the sin bin. It was “direct contact with the head”. Black and white, regardless of circumstances. Then Hughes goes low and cops it in the head and all of a sudden Ennis and Warren want common sense applied to direct h...

Re: Round 18 Storm v Raiders
How is this kind of commentary allowed. Ennis and Warren openly barracking for Canberra every single play.
I f*cking hate our game sometimes.

Get the highest average home crowd. That’s the real measure IMO.

Re: Soooo, Billy Slater
Like everyone already knows, there is a world of difference between 3 super high profile rep games filled with emotion, and a full NRL season with the week-to-week grind. Not sure Billy would even want to take that on. Especially when Rep coaching and media will probably be similar money and much le...

Re: AAMI Park stand tribute for Cameron Smith
Just don't think Cronk is in the echelon of Cam and Bill. I would have this view even if he played out his days here. This. Great player, but not in the same league as Slater or Smith. And through his commentary since leaving, he doesn’t particularly have a fondness for the club anymore… I am happy...

Was he wrong though?
Tolman took him to the ground three times and Gee wasn’t interested in doing his job for some reason. What else would you call it?
