Re: Round 21 Eels v Storm
Ashley Klein would be proud of that refereeing performance. Absolutely putrid.

Re: Official thread and signing news
He has downhill skier vibes. Can put in big runs when his team is dominating the ruck but goes into his shell when the going gets tough. The opposite of what we would typically want.

Re: Official thread and signing news
I have been trying to keep an eye on Utoikamanu. Really nervous about this potential signing… Obviously Craig and the team know what they are doing, but Utoikamanu hasn’t been playing great. He had a big game against the Titans 6 weeks ago (200m) but since about Round 10 (putting the Titans game asi...

Re: Round 21 Eels v Storm
This is a game we should win and win comfortably.
Tui, Josh and Trent need to set the forward platform early. Particularly in defence, as we did against the Roosters.
If we can be aggressive in the middle, we run away with it IMO.

Re: Official thread and signing news
Look, like any Weidler article it is likely pure imagination, however anyone at the Storm that gives any info to Weidler should be ousted immediately. The guy is a stain.

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
So the sin bin wasn’t even considered? Seems quite harsh.

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
To be honest the drop ball from Katoa which led to the Roosters first try stood out in my mind It was a poor pass from King. Katoa had to stop in his run and try to reach back to pull it in. We then defended the Roosters set, repeat set, long drop out plus another near full set before they score. T...

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
Katoa was still excellent mate. Stats don’t always tell the story. Katoa was a handful on both sides of the ball yet again. Always had his hand up for a tough carry and was stinging with his contact. All missed tackles aren’t the same and Katoa’s missed tackles weren’t costly and didn’t stand out si...

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
Munster will regularly have 7 Missed Tackles, even when fully fit. I would hate to disrupt something working so well to accommodate a partially fit star player (who honestly can be white hot or ice cold). What do we gain from that at this stage?

Re: Round 20 - Storm vs Roosters
Agreed with Mal in the post game. Our line speed was excellent. Sometimes we are so passive and wait for the runners to come to us, but tonight we were up and in their face and it makes such a difference.
Loved the defensive mindset tonight. Really ready for the contact and arm wrestle.
